I understand that it has a card slot but whats the max memory(card size). Also amped01 you said the SD slot on the 5600 you will be able to play much more then one hour but the specs say you record 30 sec max at a time, will the card let you exceed that 30 sec or will you multiple 30 sec videos. 😁

Hi,
That is a very good question.

1) Size of card.
- To my knowledge the maximum card you will be able to use is the gig card (1024meg)

2) Video Question
- The phones we had tested actaully did not even have the video option on them ☚ī¸ Sanyo gave us phones to test the RF and other technical funtions of the phone not including the camera and the camcorder. I do not know if you will be able to have 1hr + or if you will have to break it up into smaller peieces. Based on my exp though you WILL be able to record streight.

Thanks for the good questions,

I tried a mini-SD 256M card and the limit stated on the phone was 90 minutes. That is after I changed the settings on the phone menu from phone memory to SD memory.

I am glad someone posted this question. It was also posted at the readylinkusers.com forum but no one was able to actually give an asnwer. By your repsonse it seems that you can record 90 minutes of straight video or more depending on the size of the card. If this is true than this is truly going to be an amazing phone. I also do know that you can record 60 minutes of voice memo or call screening/recording which is also really nice. My question is regarding video mail. I know that the maximum video clip size that a CURRENT video phone on Sprint can only record 30 seconds of video and this is VGA quality video. If indeed you could record over a minute of a video (meaning anywhere from 1-90 or more minutes) is there a limit on how long the vid...
