Motorola V600

I called T-Mobile today and the customer service rep confirmed that they plan on making the V600 available mid-June.

I own 2 V400s and one V600. I have found that that the "brightness" and clarity of the V600 is poor...to the point where it is not satisfactory when I am using my phone in a well lighted room. The keyboard also seems to be quite sluggish in its operation. I have already exchanged my V600 once. Has anyone else experienced this problems. By the way...the screen "brightness" is not an issue with either of my V400s.

I'm getting my phone next week and I'm trying to get an idea of how good the photos are from the V600 camera.

I recently purchased the motorola V600 and one of the features which I really liked was the mp3 ringtone option, I was under the assumption that I could send myself ringtones via e-mail, I tried and I was unsuccessful, anyone know what I did wrong or if this is even possible? I am on AT&T, pretty sure that the e-mail address for an AT&T phone is
phone number(and area code)@mobile.attws.net - is this correct? Thanks!

Hello, I just got an unlocked AT&T V600 for T-Mobile and now i want to set up a new WAP connection, but mMode is always there. How do I get rid of it or fix this.

For any of you out there who bought from Cingular's first batch of V600's (May 1-15), have any of you have scartches on the phone from just opening and closing? I baby my phone and the are all over the place. If any of you have had the same problem, have you sought a replacement? I wonder if this is considered a cosmetic flaw. Looking at the board of ATT and V600 users, I have noticed that they too have the same problem. I was wondering the luck as I hate to go into my Cingular store demanding a replacement if I just got a bad phone. If any of you have just bought a new V600 are you starting to notice the scratches also?

I'm thinking about joining Cingular and getting the V600. I'm not sure if the V600 is EDGE capable or can become capable of getting the new high speed service. Does anyone know? Thanks for your help.

I have a lot of gunk and stuff on the front of my phone..what would you people suggest I clean the phone off with?

So used my camera today a few times and funniest thing. I'll take a picture, approve it to send in an MMS message and it's not the picture I took. (ie took it of myself facing the camera, approved it, and then when I wanted to insert it, it would be of me turning away from the camera.....or even blurry where you can't even make it out to be me)

I managed to get my Laptop working with my V600, however, I want to use it as a Modem with it's integrated Bluetooth. Does anyone know how to set this up with Cingular?

Just got my V600 from Plemix and love it.....Put the T Mobile SIM in and it's working like a charm.

Set up the MMS and SMS was already done.

Browser hooked up and it's all working effortlessly.

I am thinking of getting this phone with cingular. I have few questions about this phone.

a)How is the receptioon of this phone on GSM as cingular doesn't have as wide GSM right know. Most of the calls I will be making will be in the Northeast Area
b)Heard too many issues with the wrong battery meter indicator.
c) Lots of issues getting bluetooh handset to work , whats the resolution to this problem. The phone needs a firmware upgrade ??

Okay, this is probably really simple, but how do I check my voicemail without having to enter my pin every time? 🙄

How is the camera on this phone?

My brother has the V300 and the pictures come out really good with that phone. The rep. told my us that the V300 and the v400 are the best camera phones out there. But I don't want the V300 or the V400, I want the V600

Can anyone tell me how their pictures come out with the V600?

My V600 battery meter never seems to look any different (the green battery shape with what looks to be 3 bars isnide it), even after a full days use. However when I plug into the charger, it flashes to indicate charging and also seems to indicate how many "bars" it actually has left usually one or two. The manual does not really specify just how the battery level is indicated either.

What does everyone else see on their meter?

I've set-up my favourite ring tone on incoming calls but it works for 1 or 2 calls then reverts to the boring old default tone. It still has my selection listed for "Calls" but it doesn't use it!!

Anyone have any ideas?

I downloaded the MPT from the website that was mentioned on this forum recently. But, it isn't reading my V600. There is no connection being made. The cable I'm using is working because it also doubles as a phone charger through the USB port. I've tried installing the earliest version as well as their latest upgrade of MPT. Nada. I'm a Tmobile customer using a Cingular branded unlocked phone. Any great ideas?

Anyone know how to check Hotmail from V600? I can't seem to figure out if/how you can. Thx.
