Mobile Phone Tools 2 synch problem
I downloaded the MPT from the website that was mentioned on this forum recently. But, it isn't reading my V600. There is no connection being made. The cable I'm using is working because it also doubles as a phone charger through the USB port. I've tried installing the earliest version as well as their latest upgrade of MPT. Nada. I'm a Tmobile customer using a Cingular branded unlocked phone. Any great ideas?

I had a similar problem. I got some info from this forum (which I can't remember off the top of my head) having to do with identifiying the phone as a dial up modem - or something like that. In my case, I was using Bluetooth - so I know I had communications between the phone and the pc (at least according to my PC's bluetooth manager).
The poroblem was that PT had no idea that there was a phone attached, until I set that parameter.
If you do a search in this forum, you might be able to solve the mystery. I have seen several discussions on this topic - and it allways seems to be PT related as opposed to connectivity problems with the phone.

I searched through the threads and found some info that I thought was going to help, but, so far, nada. I went into the general setup from the Menu. Under Communication, you can select your phone, V600. But, the program is still not recognizing the phone. I even downloaded BVRP's online manual and that doesn't help either. I can't figure it out. Unfortunately, I don't have Bluetooth on my PC, but, I think I'll buy an adaptor.
