HELP Me Please

When the original iPhone came out, I came so close to buying it but was in contract with Verizon.
When the LG Voyager came out, I was excited and got one of the first out. Took it back a week later...........nuff said LOL
Now the 3G iPhone will be out on July 11th 🙂🙂
I am 99% sure I will get one this time for sure! Will the 8gb version be OK? I only listen to music "moderately" and have a iPod so I am thinking the 8gb should work great for me?
Also, can those knowledgables be the devils advocate for a moment and tell me any reason NOT to buy this phone?

PS: I so wish I had got the original iPhone and been done with it. Spent all this time and money with owning far less than what I should own ☚ī¸

Thanks in advance 🙂🙂

SPRINTHEAD.... GET A CLUE AND A LIFE

It doesn't need to have all those things , you know why ? Cause it's APPLE and people with buy it cause of the design. People will Line up Day in advance to get this phone , why is that ? Hmmmmmmmm, how many people lined up for the Instinct ? LOL .. NONE
To put it plain and simple If apple gave this moron everything he wanted , would you think this iphone would work properly ? NOT. Do you think there would be another one ? Maybe.. Apple is smart marketing , it is about giving MOST and I repeat MOST people what they want. Certainly not this SprintMoron. Another Apple Hater, due to the fact, Spint, service, phone's and customer care can never live up to there promises. .....

MMS ON IPHONE 3G

I GOT THIS INFO FROM A WEBSITE
AT&T preparing to bring MMS to iPhone 3G?
Posted by on Wednesday, June 25th, 2008 at 2:54 pm under iPhone

Apple and AT&T's omission of MMS (picture messaging) messaging on the original iPhone was a point of contention for many. While the rest of us were more than happy to email our photos through the iPhone's highly-integrated and intuitive email application, there were those out there that felt burned by Apple's decision to keep MMS off the iPhone.

Now, it seems, Apple and AT&T are getting ready to make sure that the iPhone 3G will have the ability to send those seldom-used MMS messages to other MMS-capable handsets on AT&T's network. An internal AT&T memo list MMS support as a feature of the iPhone ...

MMS

I currently have the iphone but have to say i am disappointed that the 3g iphone will not let me send picture mail to my friends phones (who can't access their email!)....

this phone should do both.....its fun to be out doing something and receive a message right away with a picture....email does not allow that.....i'm an apple fan, use an imac, ipod etc...but maybe its time to consider the blackberry thunder?

i'm not trying to start an argument but if this phone had MMS and video i would be in line on the 11th.....

knowing me since i'm a name brand person i'll probably still get it and hope the NEXT iphone had video and MMS......

airplane mode

The thing I am wondering is in the original iphone the airplane mood killed off the wireless Internet đŸ˜ŗ . My question is will the 3G have the ability to access the Internet in airplane mode?

I was looking for apps for iPhone and found one site with ten apps. They included video capture, MMS, eBook, every game ever made for this one game station, and a few other apps that i cant remember. Does anyone own these apps, cuz i dont know how much memory it takes up and would like to know.

Upgrading to 3G iphone question (att employees help?)

Ok I am an existing iphone att customer. My phone is totally legal and still under warrenty, not jailbroken, unlocked, etc..

I am interested in upgrading to the new 3G iphone. I figured I should sell mine to a friend, or on ebay.

Should I get my SIM card removed? Do I have to bring it into an apple or ATT store to do that? Or should I just sell it as is with my SIM card in it?

Just trying to figure out what the best and safest solution is for upgrading.

Thanks in advance

MMS on iphone - this should work

I think MMS can be done with the iphone email appl to any MMS capable phone by attaching the photo and sending to ATTcellnumber@mms.att.net

Can sent to tmobile, verizon etc see

http://iphone.macworld.com/2007/08/sending_and_recei ... »

Likewise have your friends send MMS to your iphone email appl.

A little different but works with my nokia currently.

Any rumors of a 3rd party GPS topo map application?

I've been thinking about getting a GPS for my outdoor adventures for a while. But they're pretty expensive, and the maps you have to buy for them are even more pricey.

With IPhone 2 coming out with GPS, has anyone heard of a company that plans to build an app that utilizes the GPS chip with topographic maps for trail finding/marking and geocacheing?

I could see the big screen and a reasonable price for functional GPS software be a great added functionality.

Is getting the new iPhone worth not having MMS?

I currently own a Sony Ericsson w580i and love it. Sure, I don't send pictures and sounds and videos often, but I still think it bites not being able to send and receive pictures and stuff without email. Seriously, I guess its okay when your friend who needs to see that photo or listen to that sound owns a blackberry or can afford email on a regular phone, but if their on a strict budget, I'd say bye-bye to being able to send those videos to them from the iPhone. Is it worth all of the new features that make the new iPhone better than the last, which does feature MMS?

Y would I want the iphone?

I'm curious, why does everyone think the iphone is soo cool. I have played with it and think its a nice toy, but it doesn't blow me away. The visual voicemail is definitly the best feature. I don't care about music on my phone, I prefer not to have it. I've got month problem paying for web because I like having it wherever whenever. I'm not a huge touchscreen fan. Why would I want this phone?

T-Mobile Simcard to Cingular(for this phone)

Hello everyone,

Question. My friend is convinced that her T-Mobile simcard will transfer over to Cingular phones(IPhone). A guy she knows is selling his for a nice price and she thinks she can just change the simcard and it will work fine. Im trying to tell her she may not get good service doing so because they're different carriers. What is the real answer to this before she makes a mistake?

Slingbox, 3G and a few randoms

I have had the iphone for about 6 months now and trying to decide if it is worth getting the new 3G. A few questions:

1. Any word on SlingBox?

2. 3G connection - auto detect or do you have to toggle like Wifi? I find wifi extremely annoying with the current iphone - I can honestly say I havent used it in 5 months.

3. Ear piece & speaker phone - both sub par which makes the actual "phone" aspect of the product dissappointing. Are they going to make these louder?

If anyone has any info on this, it would be greatly appreciated.

All Lies

Apple does what Apple wants. I watched keynote which stated 'we listened to what the consumer wants'. Total BS. If so, where is MMS, A2DP and voice dialing? They are only looking to compete on the BUSINESS end and screw everybody else. Not asking for the world - just basic features that even a $29 phone has. Blackberry has all this and more. I have always owned a mac & thought Steve was a genius - but he is becoming a total ass***e.
Apple is even screwing up updates to the mac now. My last iPhone update cost me my bluetooth and Apple replaced phone immediately.
