Amazon.com?

Was thinking of upgrading through Amazon.com, since their price is $150 less than Cingy. Any past experiences or horror stories? 👀

Nokia PC Suite

Just a long shot, but this software wouldn't happen to work with Macs, would it?

3.5" headphone jack included?? (per review)

The one review so far on Amazon mentions the following:

"Great sounds and a thoughtful inclusion of standard 3.5mm stereo jack "

Is this true? None of the early reviews mentioned this. I assumed I'd have to buy that clunky port adapter (and even after that, possibly a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter to go with it!). A 3.5" jack included is music to my ears!

SD Card size?

What is the size of the Micro SD Card that is included with the phone (assuming that you bought through Cingular)?

I don't think I got that off the project description page when I ordered last week (before they pulled it off).

FM RADIO? did they remove this option

Does anyone know if the cingular version of the N75 still has the FM radio, or if they removed it? I gave up a long time ago and bought the sony w810i, my only complaint is that it is not a flip. The FM radio is a huge selling point for me, as is the mp3 player. I'll miss the 4gb I have for music on my 810i, though.

Is the N75 a "smartphone"

I ask this because it does not let you add the unlimited smart phone usage ($19.99) in the checkout. Although, the specs list a "HTML web browser".
Thanks.

6126 is free after rebate!

That usually means that there is an upgrade coming out. So I guess the n75 will be out may 7th! And the cheap 6126 will make a nice back up phone too...

Nokia N75 hands-on

Hard to believe we had to wait until 2007, but here we are, finally able to say Symbian, 3G, and US all in the same sentence. Even after last week's misfire launch of the N75, Nokia's uber-hot flip phone made its way into our grubby hands under more legitimate circumstances than last time. Knowing how slim HTC made the Star Trek, it's hard to call the N75 anything but a little chunky, but besides having, you know, 3G, it's got a few other things going for it: we really dug the classy black, copper-flecked finish, but crack it open and it's got a very spacious keypad and large bright screen (littered with Cingular app-swag). We took a ton of shots of this thing, including some size comparison's to Nokia's other Cingular handset, the E62, as w...

Ringer ID

Haven't seen anywhere that it supports ringer id. What's the point of having all those ringtones if you can't assign them to specific contacts?

Bluetooth

Out of all my phones I have never owned a flip phone. Can you use a bluetooth headset while the phone is closed or does it have to be open? Thanks!

i dunno if i like it...

after 6+ months of waiting for this thing to come out......

it's kinda big and square and klunky. the 6131(6126) that i've beeen using is much sleeker. the extra keys by the thumb pad are a pain in the ass if you're used to standard nokia layout. i think there is excessive background hiss when using the speakerphone function.. also, the OS seems a little slow, and occasionally hangs or drops to totally different menu than what i'm currently working on (which MAY be caused by my thumb hitting the wrong button, so i'll be sure to update if i find that that is the case.

the phone is LOADED with crap from cingular. purchase this, purchase that, subscribe to this, blah blah blah. i hope someone finds a way to flash this phone and get all th...

Voice Dialing

According to the manual, voice dialing selects only the default number. Does that mean if you are calling John and you say 'call john at work' it won't dial the work number? It also says voice dialing is in loudspeaker mode. Am I reading this correctly?
