I'm F'ING PISSED!!!!

i *JUST* got an update email from cingular telling me my f'ing phone was backordered, confirming what the web site status update link said. I ordered this f'n thing not more than 5 minutes after it appeared on the web site LAST NIGHT!!!!!!! You bet your ass I'm calling Cingular and ripping them a new rear end. They already have my money, as it was deducted right away from my checking account, but now they're making me wait for a phone that they said was in stock. I don't think so. I'm gonna try to get more money off or a service credit and find out when I'll be getting this thing. If they don't have the phone, they shouldn't bill me until they're going to ship it! I'll let you know how I make out.

3G Sim

My kids recently both upgraded their phone and got 3G phones. They were given a new sim card for 3G phones. We purchased the phones at a Cingular store. Does anyone know if you purchase a 3G phone on-line, will they send you a 3G sim card? Do you need a 3G sim card? Will an existing sim work in a 3G phone? This was the only reason I did not purchase this phone when I saw it this morning. Now that it is showing as out of stock I'm pissed. 😈

Blackjack or Pearl here I come???

I am starting to really thing that the Blackjack is a better phone with more features than the N75. It sounds to me that Cingy (not the orig ATT) has ruined my excitement about this this new phone. All of the special reasons of why I wanted it seem to be gone or locked up. No WiFi and no capability of checking attachements. Xpress Mail is not really a great program - can be very buggy. I am not too keen on this product except for its screen - is it even 16 million colors anymore???

At least I know what the Blackjack & Pearl can and can't do. It appears that this NOKIA is not much better than the LG 500 now. ☹️

I feel like Cingy does not want Nokia stealing thunder or praise from their stupid 8525 or whatever it is.

I wish I...

cost for business???

Did anybody check out how much the premier accounts were getting this phone for? $200?

If that's the case, I'm gonna give up on this one and take my mom's barely used Sync. I think the N75 is worth every penny and I want it so bad... just don't have that kind of money right now -- I'm a poor college girl!

AT&T botches Nokia N75 launch, pulls from site

FROM: www.engadgetmobile.com
Posted Apr 27th 2007 1:45PM by Chris Ziegler

"Seriously, AT&T, stop playing with our emotions like this. Either you have the N75 available for sale or you don't -- but please, none of this wishy washy "we'll put it up for a little while, then remember that we still don't have any to sell and pull it from the site" business. For a phone this hotly anticipated by the Nokia, Symbian, smartphone, and 3G faithful, you'd like to think that the largest GSM carrier in the United States would run a significantly tighter ship in bringing this one to market, rather than give us a few hours of perceived availability followed by an ominous "Temporarily out of stock" warning in place of the "Add to cart" button. Bah, who a...

Can the N75 be used as a modem?

I am wondering if the N75 can still be used as a modem for my laptop.

Hmmm...

If this N75 does not work out for me, I am going to be stressed again trying to figure out between the Blackjack and the Pearl

6085?

I've really had it waiting for this phone. I have been reading some of the specs for the Nokia 6085. Is that phone on the same "release schedule" as the N75? That being, NO release schedule or a mounting sea of confusion about the release date!?

I just hope SOMETHING new gets released soon. I'm ready for an upgrade at the end of May.

For my purposes, the 6085 will do the job. I'm still "hoping" for the N75 though.

Any thoughts?

CALM YOUR NERVES

I'm as pissed as the rest, but its obvioulsy on its way, it will return, or cingular will have a lawsuit the size of Texas, and we'll all be so damn rich we'll be able to afford the phone on ebay got 600, lol. so everyone relax, take the extra time to save up your funds, buy your blue tooths, your SD cards, and cases. so when you do finally gte it your all set....no worries.

well now let's talk about the battery life!

i'm waiting for it to hit the stores, but for you guys that are on top of your orders, let us know how the battery life is on the n75. i've been checking the battery life of the 6126 today by running the music player and other stuff, and talking on the phone. so far so good. after 2 1/2 hours of running the music player, the battery just came off of the full indicator and went to 3/4 full.

Any Experiences ordering from Amazon?

I am wanting to order this phone and since Amazon is offering it at $49, it seems like a no brainer.

Does anyone have any experience upgrading your plan through Amazon?

I get 350 bonus minutes a month now with my $79 plan. I do not want to lose my bonus minutes... Anyone have anything to share?
