3G

I was just told that the N75 will not be 3G capable. Why would Cingular do this when they are trying to build a 3G network? Should I not get the phone and get the Cingular Sync for this reason?

ITS GOTTA BE SOON!!! 5 ON EBAY

I just did a search on ebay, and 5 cingular branded n75's were on there. Which I would guess that people that were lucky enough to get them are trying to sell them while the price is still$$$$$$$$. But thats my sense, who knows, maybe they just found that they weren't all they cracked up to be... 😉

REAL QUICK QUESTION!!!

I have been reading this forum for a while now and i am waiting for this phone to come out as much as anyone else!! My P.O.S Motorola V600 crapped out and i had to switch to my OLD OLD OLD Sony Ericsson T316!! Why do places like Amazon and others have to ability to sell this phone under cingular....but cingular wont acknowledge it!! It is really ticking me off!! I know, as common sense would dictate, that when they re-brand as AT&T they will come out with some sweet phones....so is this worth it....or might other NEW phones slated for AT&T be better?? This Wait is killing me!!!

Is it may 7th?

I know some people in here have hinted at a may 7th release? Is there any new news about its release. I think I'm gonna give it till the seventh and after that I'm gonna go with the 6126, event though I'm fairly confident as soon as I buy it the n75 will come out...

over in the "Nokia Open Studio Fall 2006" discussion:

N95 Bands

I would just like to get clarification, if I could.

In this preview, you said that the N95 is Quad-Band GSM. I assume this is correct since I'm guessing you were there and asked that specific question. However, on the official N-Series site (www.nokia.com/nseries/), the tech specs say that it is tri-band GSM (EDGE/GSM 900/1800/1900 + WCDMA 2100 MHz networks).

So, to the best of anyone's knowledge, which is it?

3G?? HSDPA??

Can someone explain to me how this phone [Nokia N95] has HSDPA but is not 3G? I don't understand the qualifications for either, because the glossary makes it seem as if it should be 3G because HSDPA is an upgrade of UMTS or WCDMA...

Thanks...

Question or ideas of the N75 and N76

I was wondering with cti-miami website they have both phones listed as
ETA: May 1, 2007

We have heard of all the reasons why the N75 is taking for--------- ever to get released by cingular/at&t but what is the reason for the N76 for not being released sooner?
The N76 won't be carried by any american carrier correct?

Just wondering??

question???

Can somebody please help me? Being that I've always used CDMA untill recently I don't quite understand the point of buying a branded GSM phone. Am I correct in saying that the only advantages of buying a cingular/att phone vs. an unlocked phone is that i get to use cingular's crapy applications and that I get it at a discount as long as I am willing to sign my life and freedom away with a new contract, and I get to have that really really cool blue and white globe on my phone? Is that the only disadvantage of buying an unlocked phone is that I have to pay more? Am I missing something?

Stereo Bluetooth Headphones

OK.OK.OK The phone will come.. until then I will buy accesories. I have been budgeting for this for six months now. I want a good stereo Bluetooth headset. Does anyone have any experience with one. I was told the Plantronics Pulsar was good but they are too expensive to make a bad choice. Any input would be appreciated. I think Frys is selling 2gb micro sd cards for 29.00 this weekend so I may get 2 and load them with music. (never give up)

From Nokia Chief Executive Olli Pekka Kallasvuo ...

"Nokia Chief Executive Olli Pekka Kallasvuo told analysts on a conference call on Thursday that he's confident the N75 will hit the U.S. market soon and that delays were mostly due to operator testing."
