Changing Ringer Volume

The volume toggle on the left side does not affect the ringer. Do I really have to go down three menu layers (Menu/setting/profiles) to change my ringer volume?

Seems kooky.

This phone is a nightmare

I got it on Monday and its got more bugs and problems than any phone Ive ever owned. The phone cuts off phone calls randomly, and the audio has a popping/garbling sound on every call. Oh yeah now the phone wont even load up, a message says "Phone start up failed, please contact retailer" is on the screen. I hope I just got a bad phone and my exchange phone will be better because the one I got is a turd bird!

REFUSE TO BUY IT!!!!!!! Will wait for the next BBD

I finally got my hands on one today at my cingy store, and was sorely disappointed. The phone is too heavy, drains the battery life when just simply playing with it, the talk time is ****tier then the 6126, yeah the camera is 2 megs but is slow to start. the button configs are well strange as all hell, i got to play with it for 3 hours and i am not happy, my 6126 was cheaper and does most of the same ****, the only reason to get the n75 is if you watch tv on it. Nokia i love you, but you ****ed up, maybe if the phone was cheaper, but til then I'll wait for the next bigger better Deal, or BBD from your company, i'm off this forum for good, see you kids in the next one

BT, a2dp or not ???

I'm confused ... some specs show A2DP support ... others don't. When I connect my Motorola HTh20 stereo bluetooth headset ... all I get is the headset protocol ... Anyone know if or how to get anything else like Hands Free ... I'd like stereo ... in my stereo headset ... Thanks for any and all help.

High pitch noise?

2 reviews both noted the following problem:

"High pitch noise in earpiece when talking or if phone is idle."

Can anyone else confirm this? My Amazon order will probably take weeks to get here, but an annoying high pitch noise (even if it's faint) would drive me nuts. thanks

This can't be real, can it?

I was on Yahoo shopping when I found the N95 for sale at $350:

http://www.locomondo-webstore.com/product_info.php?p ... »

This can't be legit, can it? It's more than 1/2 off. As you might know from my previous posts, I was thinking I was going to buy an unlocked N75 when it became available, but if this is for real, I'll go with the N95 instead.

Anyone have any experience with these guys?

CNET Review 6.3/10.0 Good

The bottom line: "There are a lot of good points to the Nokia N75, including UMTS support, advanced multimedia capabilities, and excellent call quality, but ultimately, its poor talk time battery life and other restrictions leave us disappointed in the smart phone."

I don't understand why ATT would allow a phone to be shipped with a "knock-off" USB cable in the box (Made In China, and not Thailand). It makes testing the phone impossible! Maybe it was a mistake, but it makes you wonder about the whole enterprise. This phone could be a 10, but I will never know. Good luck, it has been a long wait! I hope ATT makes this work.

AT&T Branding?????

Has any one heard when the AT&T branded one is going to hit the cingy store? Been reading the fourm & all the problems everybody having, high pitch noise, texting to someone with multple numbers, etc. I'm thinking on waiting till the AT&T branded hits to see if they resolve the issues, or might just have to wait a little while longer for the iphone? So what should I do, the N75 or the iphone? Thanks 😎

And It Begins....

I've noticed that now that the N75 is out for the most part, (still waiting for it to get here) Everyone is filling the forum with tech questions just like all the other Phone forums. And i'm not complaining its part of the cycle and when i do get my N75, if ever. i too will eb asking questions i am sure, But i just wanted to note the new Era our little group is embarking on. and in a year or so, this forum will be dead and we will all meet again for the next Nokia and play the game all over again....its almost sad

Question?

I have heard that this phone is a little bit "chunky". I know that it is not the size of the Motorola RAZR or the Nokia 6126 but I was wondering if it would fit inside a front shirt pocket without a big bulge? I know the width will be fine but not sure about the "chunkiness".

CA-53 USB cable and connectivity issues

N75 is not recognized by Windows PC running XPpro using above cable (labeled Made In China). I was told by a Nokia tech that it is not supported, only the CA-53 (labeled Made in Thailand). Sounds funny but I configured a 6126 with a DKU-2 from Thailand, bought from Nokia. Has anyone had this problem with the same cable supplied with the N75?

How to check the 3G speed?

I went to dspreports.com/mspeed and I did not find any link to check my 3G speed on my device. There were other links there and I tried them but nothing worked for me. How do I make this work?
