Question?

BlueHawk

I have heard that this phone is a little bit "chunky". I know that it is not the size of the Motorola RAZR or the Nokia 6126 but I was wondering if it would fit inside a front shirt pocket without a big bulge? I know the width will be fine but not sure about the "chunkiness".

I compared it to a razr in the Cingy store. It is not quite as tall as a razr, the same width, but maybe 1/8" thicker.

I have yet to see this phone, so on that I will hold comment, but I will say this, this is a smartphone, with that means more internals, larger screen. This will effect not only size but battery performance. As a Treo 750 owner I accept this as a trade off. Its not going to be the size of a 6126 or V3xx, nor will it have the battery performance.

Second no phone, no matter the brand is perfect. In the past months, I really should say season's, we hyped the s#%t out of the phone which leads to high expectation, sometimes more then what was ment to be.

I've been actively trying to see and buy this phone instore w/o contract and willing to spend the money. I've been to several stores, including one in Times Square when I was the...

yeah, I should call them, 50bux is 50bux. Still I would like to handle one first. Not sure how good BB would be on a return if it turned out I didn't care for it. Could also ebay it, if it came to that?

Well, I ordered it from BB, seeing they didn't charge me sales tax, and on $400 it would have been $28, this made it a significant savings even after the 9.99 shipping, they also took $4.00 off the phone. Which means it came to $355.99 to the door, compared to $428.00 if I got it via Cingular, and basically, less then $100 more if I bought on contract with cingy, not including rebates which I never have any luck with.

Thank you for your help. I usually use two phones on my line, and want to use the upgrade towards a Blackberry when they have a 3g phone later this year.

BB's website is neurotic, couldn't find the non-contract sale window till it went towards the end, their 1-888 number put me on hold x2, then when it went to a sal...
