CA-53 USB cable and connectivity issues

N75 is not recognized by Windows PC running XPpro using above cable (labeled Made In China). I was told by a Nokia tech that it is not supported, only the CA-53 (labeled Made in Thailand). Sounds funny but I configured a 6126 with a DKU-2 from Thailand, bought from Nokia. Has anyone had this problem with the same cable supplied with the N75?

I just checked the one that came in my box and it says made in Thailand.

Thanks. When I pressed the Nokia tech about the country of origin, he was very confident about the information.

Another issue with the CA-53 USB cable (Made In China), in addition to not being supported by Nokia, is the difficulty making the physical connection with the pop-port. I did not have this problem with the 6126 and the DKU-2 cable made in Thailand. If what I was told at Nokia is correct, the fit may be part of the problem?
