Re: OK, I got it activated...ask your questions

Yeah, I saw that post, and but it also says this Voice Activated Dialing (VAD) : Allows you to place a call using your voice. Saving a Voice Name NOTE: When entering names in your Contacts list, avoid symbols other than letters (such as digits and punctuation marks). The name is automatically saved when storing the number. You can not verbally assign a name to the contact. The phone will complete this for you. Calling a Voice Name Press the Voice Memo Key. Please say a command. is read over the speaker or earpice of the phone. Say the word Call Someone Say the name of the contact. Confirm the name of the contact by saying Yes or No. At this point the phone will dial the call out for you. Which implies that it would be speaker independent dialing, and in the online user's manual (http://www.verizonwireless.com/multimedia/mim/lg_ vx8100/) the system that they demonstrate on there is like the voice independent system that the 4500 has... not at all like the recorded one that the 4600 (that is what I have) has. I was asking because it seems that the published data is contradictory, I wanted someone who had played with the phone to answer... which I suppose happened, thanks.
