Epik take note. THIS is they type of "Verizon guy" I anticipated.
You resemble the type of poster I was talking about when I said "Verizon guys". The map speaks for itself. The green and red are covered areas.

I think the type of person you're describing is something like what I alluded to in this post:

Perhaps "Verizon loyalist" is a better description here: someone who's unable or unwilling to admit that other companies have merit, even if in some minuscule way.

Re: Advanced Billing Question
Not to add to this already friendly discussion, but if you look at your bill you might notice that when you get your bill the bill is for the month you are already a week or so into, and is due just before the end of your service cycle.
A true full month in advance would entail getting a bill for the bill cycle ahead of you, not the one you are already in the midst of.
On your bills it's almost like you've got one foot in the past and one in the present. The past pertains to your usage and any fees associated with it. The present pertains to the month's worth of minute allotment you're already using by the time you get your bill.
Note there's no future or "advance" statement in the previous paragraph. We call it being billed "a month in advance" because everyone understands it that way. Really, it's for the month you've already started using.
So get over it and pay your bill, or go prepay where you truly MUST pay in advance before your phone even works.

You understand we are talking about speeds right?
I hope everyone knows that the "G" in front of the number means "Generation" and its mostly about the speed of data transfer. If you need your handheld to transfer any data faster than 10mbps (and you're not going to see that on a handheld), you have issues. If you have a laptop, note/netbook, then you might need it up to 20mbps. I have FIOS at my house running at 20mbps and its plenty fast to do anything I want. The reason that T-Mobile is continuing to rollout the HSPA+ is because its backwards compatable and you dont have to pay extra per month or buy new 3G handsets. HSPA+ is capable of throughput to 21mbps! Do you really need to go faster then that on your phone or laptop?

I'll try to enunciate my big boy words better :(
I try to keep my english correct, but stuff slides thru.
On the same note... this isn't an english class. I'm not going to lose sleep if an error or two pops in.
And honestly... "An opinion or a doctrine at variance with established religious beliefs"... vs "gossip".
Speaking against Apple isn't that far removed from being at variance with "religious beliefs" at the level of some of the zealots.
