I actually like it. I agree when everyone is saying that RIM is doing nothing to standout right now, and desperately need to work on some things. But Blackberry definitely knows how to make a decent smartphone, more so than a lot of companies, by far the most reliable. How many companies are out there that every other smartphone is a bust? Quite a few, i've maybe seen one from Blackberry.

BB's get a terrific amount of loyalty from their hard core users. I think they make a solid if uninspiring phone, perfect for the business user, of which there a a god awful lot of-lol. My only complaint is their build quality has been somewhat spotty in the last few years, really hit and miss.
Too bad.

RIM IS NOT GOING THE WAY OF PALM...jesus people.

RIM is an enormous company, heavily rooted in enterprise (business that is consistent wont fluctuate based on the next hot device).

Im kinda excited to see OS 6 in action and its nice to see RIM make some changes to their OS.

Ooh! Ooh! You're right! RIM will definitely go the way of Palm! You know what they should do to save their CLEARLY failing business? They should make the iPhone! Or maybe an Android phone! Something else OTHER than Blackberries!!! They're so lametarded! Duh, RIM!!!

Listen, while what they are rolling out isn't changing the face of the wireless industry or redefining what a smartphone should be, what are doing, is consistently executing a formula that is solid. Personally I am on my 8th BlackBerry, the 9700. I have an iPhone as well, have had Windows devices, etc. What RIM has now 100% meets my needs. If that formula is screwed around with, then I, as well as a whole lot of other people, will have been done a disservice.

thank you for ...

Stop with the hatred, Blackberry is the most SOLID smartphone for business on the market. I agree they do need to spice it up a bit to "stand out" rather than just "blend" as another smartphone company. I'm excited to see what Blackberry has in store.

If your post was any less informed, it'd burst into flames.

Yeah, that's right. RIM is 'retarded'. It's not doing well at all. NO ONE has Blackberries.

Sell your stock immediately!

look I don't care for BBerrys any more than you do, but they sold more units than any other smartphone maker in the US this last quarter. They're still a dominate company. They have a formula, and they stick to it, and it's made them the successful business communication device company that they are.
