Most of the establishments that have these signs are restaurants.

Sprint Picture Mail. pictures.sprintpcs.com
Does anyone know if Sprint is going to discontinue there picture mail anytime soon? I have noticed that a lot of the new phones do not have a option to upload to the sprint picture mail site nor do they have the option to even view your online pictures via a link on the phone! One of my new phones the Lotus Elete for example does not have the options. I have had sprint picture mail from the time it began back in 2002 with the sanyo 5300. On another note.... will Sprint and VZN have a live streaming video service like AT&T, the only US provider able to offer this service. I got a line with AT&T just for this service and it really works well in my area!!

Re: with all due respect...
no it wouldn't. Because if you are typing a paper and need to look something up, you need to shut down your paper, open the browser, look up the item, then shut down the browser, open back up the paper and start typing again. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the concept here of iwork on the device.
But I can't tell you a single student at the school I went to that would be typing something without having some other window they were toggling through. If they want to market this as an textbook/study/note tool, they NEED to impliment non-jailbroken multi tasking.
Seriously, if this thing had multitasking, and I had the spare cash, this+iwork would be almost a buy for me (and for as annoying as flash is, I DO like Hulu) It's just... I don't think apple thought this one through as much as they should've.

Really don't know what to do
I am at the end of my 30 days for this Hero. I have a love hate relationship with it since I am coming from a blackberry.
The phone is nice, and has a great screen. Most of the apps are not necessary but fun. I have not used any of the apps except Timeriffic and a few others...because they are not needed for the basic function of the handset.
The battery life is pretty dismal...coming from a phone which would last 3-4 days on a single charge to the HTC Hero that barely lasts one day...regardless of the settings, firmware, etc. All of that is minimal disruption but it's important to note.
The release for Android 2.1 for Sprint is not available and I was hoping that the release would correct some of the issues.
The calendar on the Hero is simply pathetic. There are no words that can describe how pathetic the calendar is on the Hero. It's probably the worst calendar on any smartphone. I do use google calendar and it worked flawlessly on the blackberry.
Had I never ever been spoiled with the prior use of a blackberry, I would probably love the Hero...but blackberry spoiled me.
I will give it a few more days and unless something comes about, I will probably return the Hero and wait for something else to come along in Q2 or Q3.

Here's a little side note:
Had a customer really upset about her account, really really mad at me, wants me to transfer her to verizon (implied undertones were she'll switch providers) so I try everything I can, fail, and then complete her request and listen in while 2 vzw reps transfer her back into the Q, then the third disconnected the call. 0/3 ain't bad...
