Re: POLL

the first cell phone i had was an altel phone..service was okay..so was the phone but nothing impressive... the second service i had was pageplus prepaid..it was a joke...service wan't any good... the third was tmobile..i went through a few phones..the service was good in some areas and the phones were excellent..i ended up with a sidekick..it was/is a great phone..i truly enjoyed the unlimited txt (to anyone) unlimited internet and as well as sending pictures... lastly, since i work for verizon, they gave me a free phone... the phones are okay, great service but what you couldn't do with the phones was utterly absurb as opposed to what i could do with my tmobile phone..i could download java games from free sites or ringtones...but not with verizon... if I could have the best of both worlds it would be a combination of verzion service with a tmobile phone...but it wouldn't happen- so thats life..i think that the hardest part of life is being able to take the bitter with the sweet...it isn't utopia

why yes we do! 8O Activation Fee = Waived Voice Plan/Sidekick/Voice & Data = 9.3% discount Includes any pooling or non-pooling rate plan that includes a voice bucket. Data only plans DO NOT fall into this category. Add On Features = 5.3% discount This category includes all non-data optional SOCs/features such as SMS, Unlimited Nights, I-Billing, etc. These can be both BAN and SUB level. Data Only Plans and Data SOCs/BlackBerry = 3.3% discount Includes all data only SOCs and rate plans Overages = 11.3% discount This includes both voice and data overages Domestic Long Distance = 11.3% discount Does not include long distance charges while roaming International Long Distance = 11.3% discount Does not include international long distance charges while roaming 8O p.s you may end up paying more but roaming is INCLUDED which as you stated earlier was not so with sprint! any more questions?

QUESTIONS/COMMENTS? YES.... Everything you listed above that coincides w/ my original post I pay: $0.00 I pay $85.00/month for 2000 minutes (before taxes and all those other charges) I also get a HUGE  5% government discount...bringing my bill to just under $95.00/mo. So...you tell me how to get my plan w/ T-mobile for the same or less $ after taxes and T-Mobile will have my business for the next 12 months...if not longer as I was w/ Sprint for 6 years. Oh and I don't care about roaming now as I am moving.

What About AIM?
by bklynbouncer    Jan 14, 2006, 6:50 PM
in the Palm Treo 700w / 700wx forum

I currently have a reg cellphone & i have tmobile for the data service because of the good technology they have for the aim service and what not. I bought the treo 650 to test it out, and any version of aim i downloaded sucked required payment for after the trial period and didnt do nearly as close as the AIM does on the Sidekick. Does the change to windows from palm mean that their is a solid good strong connection with aim? And how is the battery life? Is it better then the treo 650? I hadda get rid of the 650 after 7 days because it was so ahrd to type and aim wasnt stable nor was the OS on the device. Please let me know about aim and the battery! Thanks in advanced
