Danger Hiptop 2 / Sidekick II

hi there, i'm new here.
i'm an italian boy and i'm going to buy from german a sidekick II. i've heard it'll work only with T-mobile (that don't exist in italy, we have only Vodafone, Tim, Wind and 3) and wont work with any other but I've also heard that exist a "privacy code" needed to unlock it. so, if you can sand it to me via e-mail as soon as you can, it'll be really nice, because next wednesday will come my uncle who'll help me with his credit card to buy it, so, i need it or i could even forget it... and if you can explain how it works, i'll thank you. on the internet i read this code will unlock totally the sidekick.... i hope so...... please, help me!!!!

Do you know how to transfer files from pc to phone and back via USB? Do i need any software? What kind and where can i get it?

Just wondering is there any slots on this phone so that you can add a card like a microsd card or a m2 card at all?

😢 I bought a used, unlocked Hip-Top 2 to replace my teenager's new phone that she lost in the first 18 hours.

I have tmobile service, everything works fine except for internet. How do I set up the phone for the internet service? I spent a long time on the phone with tmobile, they said it won't work with the HipTop2. I'm not convinced. Help !

Does the Sidekick II have mp3

WIll this have the full aol service, like the one that comes on computers or the hacked up one, which comes with most mobile phones. And also (for owners of the original), if I just want to use as an IM and email device do I have to buy a calling plan?

well i was told by someone that if you unlock a sidekick then you can go to tmobile and make it prepaid. Is that true? Because i want a sidekick but i don't want to have a plan, and if it works i just go buy one from ebay.

I got a brand new sidekick II from Tmobile returns that I am selling instead of using. It's in plastic, never been powered on. Will provide charger. Am willing to sell or trade straight up for Palm Treo 650 for Verizon. Email me if interested.

ok here the deal...i tryed calling t-mobile to unlock the sidekick phone.they said no they dont do it anymore. so am woundering if anyone knows a place where to get it unlocked?

i just got my sidekick and im all jazzed,, had to get all the bells and whistles so i signed up for the internet thing t mo has going on...

does anyone know of a site... that will be supported on the sk2 that i can stream music off of... so i might be able to use it as a portable player of some type... thnx for any help

hey, will sidekick2 work here in the philippines? i mean, i live here in the philippines... and im just gonna ask my dad who's in states to buy me one. will it work here? will changing its sim card with the ones available here make it still function just the same?

i got my phone stolen and my cousin gave me his sidekick 2 since he just changed his cell phone service. only thing is that the button u hold down to turn it on is messed up and basically it isnt there. so i was wondering if there is an alternative way to turn on the sidekick 2. im hopin there is. as an ex sidekick 2 user i was really excited when he gave it to me. anyways please get back to me if u kno anything about this

OK, so my SKII broke this past Thursday.

I know SKII is still for sale on T-Mobile's website...

They're trying to get me to upgrade to their MDA phone...

I haven't yet exhausted all of my options for getting a new SKII... 🙂

I'm just wondering what's best - SKII vs. SKIII vs. MDA...

I don't think I like MDA...

I could care less about Bluetooth...

I'm deaf - I don't use voice. I have a data-only plan from T-Mobile for my SKII...

Anyway, can't get a SKII in the store! They told me I could get it in a store - went to a store - they said they were all out - an hour's drive for nothing! Gee.

Oh, and I'm a Mac user, so I could care less about PC enabled phones, too.

I'm also open to a good SKII alternative that's goo...

If someone stole my sidekickII will they be able to register it under a new number?!

also I had all my numbers on my simm card so if they take out the simm card will the numbers still be on there w/o the simm card
