Sidekick 3
Ok I figured it was time to give this its own thread wanted to know what the sidekick 3 can do i know its supposed to be bluetooth and be more updated software wise but wondering what it looks like and are there any dates yet or pics Thanks guys and if you got info on other new phones coming please fo share

Sidekick 3 will likely not be out before Q3 2006. It is in the beta testing phases at the moment, and is likely to stay there for a while as the software bugs in it get worked out. It will have Bluetooth and an SD card slot and mp3 player, and hopefully it will suck less than the Sidekick 2.

Tmobile is also comming out with the MDA and SDA, both PDAs running on the latest version of windows mobile. Not sure the price yet but they are set to launch the end of Feb.

I don't believe you. I heard that Danger will be at the 3GSM phone show in February, and that means they will be giving info about the Sidekick 3. I heard that the SK3 might be out in April.

It might be OUT, but that doesn't mean that T-Mobile will begin selling it. Not that T-Mobile has ever released a crappy phone *cough* Siemens CF62t*cough* but the software on this one is apparently SOOO bad that it will take a while to work it out. There is no launch date set as of now.

That has been the rumor that has been posted online for sometime now. Generally, the sidekick new version is almost always released during quarter 3. I'm not sure if this will change for the release fo the sidekick 3 or not. No pictures or anything have even been released of the SK3. At this point, Danger is more than likely still in the testing phase.

Maybe cause of the way the internet spreads the news like crazy. Plus, the SK2 is still selling good. That would stop sales if they knew that a SK3 was coming. They need to replace the SK2, since its been out for 1 year and 4 months.

Yes, it is very much time to replace the sidekick2. Sales really took off for this device, especially when you have stars that are 40 years old plus (i.e. Paula Abdul) carrying them around. The SK2 is featured on a lot of sitcoms as well. I have even noticed that even just while shopping recently that I have seen at seen at least 3 SK2s purchased. Remember al ot these recently purchased SK2s won't be the first to go out and grab the SK3 right away either. I'm sure that even after the SK3 is released that there will be a market for the SK2s on eBay.
You do have some business types that carry them around as well. You really can't beat the price for email, sms, and internet. Now, let's see if this device can get EDGE on the SK3!!
