T-Mobile is currently working on our 3G Network. I know we are very behind on high speed data services. We just recently launched our EDGE network. T-Mobile has signed an agreement with the ISP "Comcast" to help provide better services within homes T-Mobile towers cannot reach. The network construction has been under way for the past 11 months and should be completed sometime in late 2006. Service will be provided thru Wi/Fi routers. So if you already have a Comcast connection and a Wi/Fi router your already set to go. And if you don't we all know how often we find open Wi/Fi networks so you can borrow you neighbor's.

yea i mean are they gonna increase the network capacity meaning more coverage like are they gonna buy out or merge with anybody. Also are they ever gonna get their network bigger than cingular. I mean overall do u think t-mobile gets better reception the cingular in the major cities.

I haven't heard of any mergers with any companies. T-Mobile has been signing roaming agreements like crazy to bump up the network. Cingular does have a large network ever since the At&t Merge, but coverage in major cities very from city to city. In large metro areas like New York, San Fransisco, Dallas and Atlanta T-Mobile will always attempt to dominate the coverage area.

How are they *ever* going to be bigger than cingular?! cingular has well over 50 million, VeriZon has over 50 million, SpriNextel has 30 million. Where is T-Mobile going to find at least 30 million more subscribers to be equal to the top two carriers?

T-Mobile USA reached the 10-million customer mark during the first quarter of 2003. They reached 20 million in the beginning of 2006. It will take a little while but they are trying.

Got a question about CA/NY/NV yea i wanted to know that when t-mobile bought the whole old cingular network in cali and nevada did they have to give up their network to cingular in NY or no. And why does cingular still get better reception in cali, nevada and New york than t-mobile. Whats goign in those areas im little bit confused and stuff. some people say t-mobile got the better deal where as their network is built very well while the blue network which is att network is weak but uses 850 rather than 1900.

What's T-Mobile's PDA Group's stand on the Patent case vs. RIMM from NTP? If BB shuts down services then what will T-Mobile be willing to do for the existing BB customers? I hope that they are aren't looking at this as a potentially money making area for their Smartphones or other similar services because I a don't think the avg BB data user, inspite of all this chaos, is going to have the propensity to just hop ship and shell the $300-$500 out for another device that easily.

Let me be clear that I don't expect a charity event out of all this but I'd think it'd be fair to provide some be...

I don’t think there will be much problem for bb users currently using the phones, all those phones were approved by FCC for being safe and compliant with manufacturing, but worse comes they will have to pay a fine to who ever, I have had almost all the PDA and phones T-mobile has ever had, you must appreciate what they are doing with the Mda and the Xda, its about time, they are spending loots of money bringing these units, so they can sell their data features, this is one of those steps that gives the users more edge then any thing else, cant wait until T-mobile starts making their own phones

Question on a T-Mobile Policy

If I purchase 2 phones from 2 different retail stores and have them both activated under seperate plans, can I change the plan for the phones to a family plan without having it take effect on the next billing cycle? Will both plans be prorated or will it be billed for what has been used? Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

if you activate two phones any way you like as long as they are in the same account and you make changes any time ,t-mobile cc they can be back dated to start of your cycle, if your cycle is on the 5th you have activated one phone on the 6th in store one and then on the 9th you activate another one, the billing cycle will stay on the 5th, call cc and they will back date it to your new plan.

I just got off the phone with a T-Mobile tech support. I live in California with the "new" voicemail system and use a Moto V635, which is supported in Europe, but not in the US. I get an text notification of a voicemail, but not a display notification. They said that their "technicians" are aware of the problem and are "working on it." They said it is a common problem with the European phones. Is there any hope they will fix the problem?

I'm new to T-Mobile.
I've got a RAZR but only until I pop for a new Treo (another story).
I've got the $5.99 web thing w/ T-Zones and just signed up for the $4.99 400 messages.

Because of my phone..... they say I can't get the regular internet (that used to be 19.99 w/ voice service) at 29.99. (used to come with 3 or 400 messages)

Is that accurate? That's cool if it is but I haven't been able to get a Rep to sound sure on much.
