Should I buy a Motorola v635?

I'm a Roger's customer on Pay As You Go and I've been looking for a great camera phone with all the extras to replace my current Moto c333 that I've had for almost 3 years. (Don't ask me how I've put up with it for so long, it's a piece of crap!!!)

I've been researching the Motorola v635 online, and from the specs on the Roger's site and user reviews I've read, it sounds like a good bet.

But before I shell out $440 CDN, can anyone here reccommend it? Anyone here own one? Is it a good phone to buy, or can you guys reccommend a better one?

Thanks!,

Upgrade?

I work for a US providor, but I live in Canada with ROGERS as my service provider. I started service almost 6 months ago and signed a 3 yr contract. The deals here are not even close to what we offer in the US, but I realize that is due to the fact there are way less cell subscribers in Canada than the US. My question is, How long until I can upgrade my phone with Rogers? I got a v220 and it is crap. I want a new phone, not free, but not $300 etc. Does anyone know how long I have to wait for an upgrade? Do I have to wait out my entire contract? Also, does anyone know what the early termination fee is? Not planning on cancelling, really no competition for providors here in canada.

Rogers fone, want to go prepaid

i found a fone on the bus with rogers att logo on screen and no fonebook data, not even a HOME #....which is the best way to get a cell returned....

Anyways, if i cannot locate the user after calling rogers-obviously i cannot verify anything on the account other than the IMEI # on the fone- and they shouldnt release any info about user to me because of that, can i use the fone on a prepaid service?

What phone for contact management?

I am hoping someone can recommend the best reasonable priced phone for contact management. I am not too worried about other features as I don't need a cheap camera etc. I just want to get calls and keep tract of new contacts at work.

Thanks and regards

Verizon to Telus

I got a question: Right now I live in Washington State, and in a month I'm moving to Red Deer, AB (actually Sylvan Lake) and I have a Verizon phone now. Is there any way that I can just move that service from Verizon to Telus???

Prepaid / Pay-As-You-Go

So I'm driving up to Saskatchewan in May for 2 weeks for a vacation. I'm probably going to need a cell phone while I'm up there. What are the activation fees for some of the carriers? Who has a better deal in terms of how far a certain dollar amount will get you for minutes? Who has the cheapest phones? Not going to buy a $300 for half a month. As far as I know, Sasktel, Telus and Rogers all operate in Saskatoon, could be others I'm unaware of.

Motorola V551m phone

Does anyone have this phone?

I'm interested in it, and I'm wondering what some opinions/reviews are on it?

What are the features like and is it worth it?

DISCOUNTS IN CANADA??

After a bit of conversing on a seperate thread,I have decided to start this one in order to seek discounts on phones, plans, and the like for call center employees in Canada.I have heard many different things that U.S Reps receive as far as discounts and fringe benifits, and it makes me want to jump up and down screaming "its not fair",but, instead I have started this thread to see if there is something that I'm unaware of here in Canada with ANY service provider similar to what the U.S reps get. Anybody know if theres any deals for us Canadian Reps?

T-mobile phone... can i get it in canada?

there is this Betsey Johnson Limited Edition phone from T-Mobile that i ABSOLUTELY adore. its pink with little roses on it, and i am trying to convince my parents to let me get it. the thing is, when im on the website, (
http://www.betseyjohnsonbysamsung.com/ » ) it asks for an americain Zip Code to see if its available near you. is tehre any way i could buy it and activate it here, with a canadian plan or something? do they sell T-Mobile phones in canada? if they do somewhere (i havent really looked into it here that much, only online) maybe i can ask if they can specially send in that phone or something.

thanks

Need guidance on cell providers... Bell, Fido, Rogers... Mike

I cuurently have 2 cell accounts - Mike Telus and Bell Mobilty.

I noticed that now is the time where the cell phone providers are not going the extra mile for their customers - rate plans are expensive for people like me who use alot of talk time.

I'm thinking of dumping my Bell Contract to go to Fido (City Fido).

Can anyone give me some advice please? 😁

Rogers Network: Are 850 and 1900 Both necessary?

I want to buy a phone that has GSM 900 / GSM 1800 / GSM 1900.

Considering Rogers has both 850 and 1900, do I need a phone that has both or if you have at least one of them will you be ok?

If only one is needed, is this phone ok?
