OnePLUS2

Just wondering as the OnePLUS2 is now being sold to Canadians.

For those who have decided to try this new phone, what do you think about the quality of build?
Is it worth the money to actually buy one? I have heard of some Data & reception issues and maybe with the cameras.

Just wondering what people think about the phone and the company and its customer service overall.

Rebut to Whitehorse: Rights and freedoms. Long, but stay with me.

Ok. I really want you to sit down and think about what you type next time. I assure you I get my information from every source, but the difference being I make my decisions based on facts, not partisan beliefs. In the last 8 years I have voted at every end of the political spectrum (I voted Conservative in the last provincial election for example). I have no political affiliation and belong to no political party or subscribe to any one party doctrine. My political leanings are to the left, especially when it comes to social policies. The reason being the left is the biggest defender of the rights and freedoms of all, not just some. And no, I'm not going to come with the 'your an insane right winger argument", because I don't need to. I'm goi...

notification of expiration of pre-paid account

Every year in November I buy a $100 card to top up my Virgin Mobile account. I always write a memo in the next year's calendar to remind me to top up the following year before the expiry date. This system had worked well and I had accumulated a balance of around $400 since the initial phone purchase about 5 years ago. The system worked well, that is, until this year. I must have forgotten to write the memo last year and, when I checked my account on the weekend, I found my account balance had been wiped out and was now zero.

So my question is this...Is there any carrier in Canada that automatically notifies their pre-paid account customer when it is time to top up?

A second question comes to mind....If there is not one...then why n...

Moving to Vancouver

A little background on my situation and what I'm looking to do. I will be marrying my fiance in February. She is Canadian, I'm American. We will eventually be living in the Vancouver area when all is said and done. We're both looking into the government issues and checking our options out. I currently work for one of the cell phone providers in the call center and been here for 9 years with this company. I am looking to get a job with one of the big three carriers in Canada and I know all three have call center locations in Vancouver. I've been through most positions within the call center from agent to supervisor to trainer to operations so my work experience will be a plus.

Basically what I'm looking for is trying to decide which...

Why doesn't anybody take Canada seriously?

Going back through this forum, I see maybe one or two serious threads on a page, and the rest of them are all non-wireless related...

Nobody taking this forum seriously?

U.S. calling plans (when in Canada) seem to be appearing?

As a Canadian who has been stuck in muggy and hot-as-hell Louisiana for many years, I have been shocked at my phone bill after every visit to my family in Canada.

The combination of roaming and long distance has been about a buck per minute! And I could find no carrier with a plan available in Louisiana that could reduce this cost.....until now...I think.

I have just signed up for a new Canadian plan on AT&T that should help. And I think I see a similar plan available on Verizon. But I can't be sure that it will truly help until I make another trek home.

Has anyone else had this problem? Has anyone else solved this problem?
