Cell Phone Streaming Project

Hey guys,

I have over 3000 movies I want to post for cell phone users to watch but it seems like only my cell phone (Samsung SPH-A700 Sprint) plays the RTSP streams... I need help in testing the streaming to different cell phones and comprise a list of phones that does accept the stream.

If you are interested in helping me with this project, I have setup a public page with about 30 different streams for you to access on your phone and give me feedback whether or not it worked on your phone.

Point your phone to:

What functions on PC Suite are supported by the 6102? I cant seem to get the audio manager to transfer music to work. Its one of the few reasons that i got the data cable and all i can seem to do is create backup for phone and transfer pictures. Any help or recomendations would be appreciated.

Bluetooth

Looking for a blue tooth handsfree headset that will work good with the LG VX8100 cell phone. I tried the HS820 Motorola headset and get complaints from those on the other end that they can hear themselves talking. Verizon doesn't have a software upgrade for this problem at this time. Does anyone have good results with a headset for this phone??

LG-8100

Hello. I just purchased a LG-8100 phone with Verizon. I wanted to know what kind of USB adapter I will need to purchase in order to use Bitpim. I have looked at ebay but I am not sure which cable will work. I have read some posts that say not all the cables will work. So my main question is which cable will work in order for my PC to communicate with my LG-8100? How do I know which is the correct cable?
Thank you.

can you help me on what phone to buy

Hello, My name is Mike. I am looking for a phone for Verizon Wireless and i am seaking advice. My friend had a t-mobile sidekick that i was toying around with and i liked some of its options[ the AOL Instant Messenger, Internet(so I can easily mapquest directions at all times) and the mini keyboard that it has.] I was wondering if there is any phone with these three options for the verizon wireless service? If not all three most importantly the aol instant messanger and the keybored. Please e mail me back if you could a list of phones that do provide those axcessories. Or if its easier how do you know if a phone has AOL instant messanger. On most phones sites (even for t mobile) it doesnt list that is has AIM.

Thank you,
mike

Best Phone?: Air Plane Safe, FM Radio, mini PDA, Beep for Missed calls?

Hi

I had a Motorola Phone that can do:
- beep periodically for a missed call

My ideal phone has:
- all features from Nokia 6230
- Air Plane Safe
- somewhat a large screen
- beep periodically for a missed call
- WiFi (I pay for WiFi for my PC and I don't want to pay for another form of Internet access)

Is there one available?

Need some advice....

To make a long story short, I haven't been particuarly happy with my service from Cingular. The Customer Service is decent, but my major complaint is with the signal quality/service. I am looking into alternative providers and have researched the various frequency types, CDMA, GSM etc and just want opinions on what service provider is best for me. I am not a data user at all, I have a laptop w/air card and a Blackberry for that(both for work), so my personal phone is strictly used for calling friends/family and not using internet on it etc. So in my instance, using the phone for voice, would it be better to find a CDMA provider compared to what im using now (GSM)?? Or am I just having a bad experience with Cingular and their GSM network...

little dot on the bakc of the batteries

What's up all?

I work in the industry, but I got a question about something. Ont he back of your phone battery there is a little (pink and white?) dot/indicator. Now, is the purpose of that for companies to know if the phone has water damage or not? Im just wondering it would help when kids bring thier phones back to the store and use the "uh it just stopped working"

Anyone know what Im talking about?

ROKR Bluetooth

Got a question. If you link your ROKR via Bluetooth to your Bluetooth enabled Merecedes, BMW, etc., can you listen to your iTunes in the stereo?
