Question for Sprint Telesales

(If y'all are around!)

Is it true that you cannot:

- Change a price plan
- Swap a phone

?

If so, please let me know, a few documents and announcements came out saying otherwise, but the agents I've spoken to said they're told they're not allowed to. D:

Just wanting some clarification, thank you!

I miss that button.

The pretty one that, after 3 warnings, I could hit and cut a customer off after I note the account.

Because, y'know, I don't get paid enough to sit there and take some jerkass dropping every curseword under the sun and insulting me directly because he refuses to allow us to help him. We gave him options, he quite explicitly declined and told us where to shove it.

Well, my "good" sir, you can go ahead and take your tantrum to the internet and get sent to the collection agency as well. You're just shooting yourself in the foot in that regard.

annoyed with customers today

So basically i understand helping customers out is always important and i dont know why they cant understand phone pricing does change. Just cause you been with a company so long doesnt give you the right to get everything for nothing. If you saw the price last week you should call in and get it then. Maybe thats just how i feel.

Where is sprint going

Speaking to investors, Sprint's president of network operations, Steve Elfman, said that if the company decides to switch from WiMax to LTE, it could light up the network and have devices as soon as 2012 and have nationwide coverage by 2013. Elfman repeated that Sprint is still evaluating its 4G network position and it will make a decision by the middle of the year about a potential network technology switch. Elfman said that Sprint is still in negotiations with Clearwire about the future of their joint WiMax network. Sprint is still planning its Network Vision project, which aims to make massive improvements to its 3G network over the next few years. Sprint uses 1900MHz for its CDMA network, 800MHz for its iDEN network, and 2.5GHz for WiMax...

Ridiculous Anti-Fraud Policy

If we get caught with our cell phone out (even simply quickly slipping it out our pocket to check the time) it an automatic termination. We are not allowed to ANY form of paper even papers that are required to have. If we need to fill out a form we have to ask our sup for the correct form. Our supervisors are the only ones that are allows a writing utensil, so now our sups have to run around the entire center to let people borrow the pen. This makes everyone feel like a criminal.

Think about your customer

I just spent a lot of time correcting an issue that never had to be.
Customer had called in due to death in family (husband). The rep did well in changing ownership of that account. She also had her own account which had her and one other line.
the rep moved the one line to the other account to save? her money. It still left her on a data account with an old phone that did not need data at all. She only used about 100 minutes totall a month for all types of calls.

Each account was allowed 3 lines.

How hard is it to call for credit reveiw and get a 4th line added so that there is only one account and one share plan. Take the time and maybe on customer scoop.com they will not talk about the worest rep they had or whatever.

Dealing...

65+ 911

There is the old lady who wants 'serious compensation' because she hasnt been able to charge her phone since she got it three weeks ago. She expecting a baby any time and may need to call 911. Then gets pissy after further into the conversation I get her to tell me she is talking on the phone. And that i see the last call was 71 minutes. And that in the last 2 weeks she has used 1056 MTM minutes. But I understand her frustration and will be happy to credit $15, 1/2 of her $29.99 senior citizen plan. Congratulations on your new baby. 🤣
Guess scammers get old too.
Kept getting the same kind of call over and over. The last couple of hours I just gave up and gave em whatever they wanted. 🙄
Sometimes I wonder if I'm on Candid Ca...

Task Killers are garbage

and don't do sh!# for the phone. If you sale cell phones in general and Sprint in particular and think you're doing customers a favor by installing them, trust me you're not.
I have to actively uninstall them to fix phones, Best Buy and Radioshack reps seems to be doing it the most so if you're reading this, please stop.

Sprint Telesales Reps

Is it just me, or does it drive you CRAZY when dealers call you? I know we're all sales based environments but I just wanna throttle a dealer for screwing up my metrics... Don't they know that they have a dealer support line to get to that will help them, not telesales that will purposely try to misdirect them for wasting one of their calls? jeez... just had to rant.

Really?

Because you've been here 12 years, you think you're entitled to someone from our corporate office driving over to where you live and will pick up the defective device. That's adorable.

So is your racist, sexist attitude from the very get go. "Thanks for swapping my phone, now transfer me to your tech department men so I get someone who knows what they're doing with technology."

Get over yourself, cupcake.
