The secret to getting customers in your store!

Put something in your mouth.

The second you do this or go pick up lunch you'll have a two hour rush.

Consumer reports

I don't like them or believe them as much as the next sales person, however.

It directly states in the article January 2007 issue to go into the cellular stores, talk with the salesperson and learn everything you need to know, feel the phones out and make your decision, and then go home and buy the phone online because it's cheaper...

I HATE consumer reports WITH A PASSION!!!!

Thought I would relay that on to you all also!

Vision/ Power Vision Billing Issues with Customers

How many of you who work for a corporate Sprint retail store/kiosk and have had customers come in with a whopper of a wireless bill because of internet casual usage?

The casual usage rate for using the Vision(1xRTT)/Power Vision(1xEV-DO Rev 0 & A) is $0.03/KB which I've figured out is roughly $6.00/minute. You wouldn't believe how many customers month after month would come in with outrageous bills because they refused to accept the free 30 day trial of the Vision/Power Vision and swear up and down all they did was download a game or ringtone once or twice. This stuff adds up people if you just have the casual usage rate on the account. I really wish Sprint would go back to requiring the purchase a Vision/Power Vision data package for ei...

Why is it...

Why is it that 90% of people who bark "just looking!" at me, regardless of my greeting, almost immediately have a question? 🙄

Give a guy a break...

Not a big fan of RayCarroll70's, but if you notice his recent posts, he has posted with decent posts, not his old mess.

I have decided, at least for me, that as a poster, he has seen the light, and now is a contributor to this site. He does know a little somethin' somethin', and as long as he doesn't bible thump, Sprint.com thump or lay it on thick, he gets a pass from me.

We all have posted things that maybe we shouldn't have, and he appears to have toned down on his rhetoric and has actually posted some helpful stuff.

Anyway, it's still a free forum to post in, I just say Ray has seen the light, IMO.

Happy Festivus, Ray!

There's a Verizon call center opening up here soon,

Should I go for a job there? I have call center and wireless experience totaling almost three years so I am sure I will get hired. Too bad it doesn't open til late 2007.
Are they good to work for?

Apparently my co-workers don't know how to read.

Or my co-workers are freaking morons. I'm not sure what, I'm betting it's a combination of the two. Our floor is broken into teams and each team has a seating area assigned to them. My team is the Monarchs... his is the Accelerators. We have some places where our desks are close to each other but they are all clearly marked as to what team is supposed to be seated where (in the case of my desk the sign hangs in front of the screen and must be flipped up to use the computer...not hard.)

I also have my schedule posted, I work 9 - 6 on Sundays... so the only people who get here before me get in at 6 am... and the floor is VERY empty at 6 am, they can sit anywhere... within their team area.

My this co-worker... I don't know why they hi...

My resonse.

"Oui."

"What?"

And that's when I realized

I was twiddling my thumbs as we are slow today and thinking about making a guide for my coworkers to correct some of the gross mistakes that they make when giving customers data and that's when I realized that most of my co-workers don't actually care about getting it right because they're weasels. So sad.

Thank you Rich & Eric and to all who support the Global Fund.

I'd like to say thank you to both Rich Brome and Eric Lin for the Red Samsung M500 I recently won in their Global Fund auction for $150 here at phone Scoop. I received it yesterday afternoon via FedEx 3 Day Express and switched my EDRP wireless line to it from my Samsung A920. I am really impressed with it! I can't wait to experience the M500's full potential as I feel it has some major advantages and extremely few disadvantages when compared to the A920. The greatest winner in all though I think most of the forum members will agree is Bono and Bobby Shriver knowing that my contribution is fueling the fire of the Global Fund to one day open a huge twelve pack of Armageddon on AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis over in Africa as well as other thi...

Thank you for calling BigPink...

So my opening line... "Thank you for Calling BigPink, my name is Niki, may I have your name please."

The customer "I'm just trying to find out if you also deal with Virgin Mobile Accessories."

...

After about ten seconds of dead quiet.

"No ma'am, we only sell BigPink services and accessories."
