Does anyone know anything about getting this service on a sprint phone... ive never heard of it but i custy just showed me an email with info about it... but it wont work with his phone for some reason...

if youre like me and have never heard of it till now its a service that converts voicemails to emails.

** Long Rant**
where to begin. If you work for big pink, and have one of these in your area then im sure you know what im going through. been open for an hour. i come from the busiest store in my market to this. first off, the opener here comes in and says she talked to another manager that she was sick and couldnt work. so i open by myself. I dont have keys. i lock the bathroom door, so now i cant get in. first custy, not too bad. just an indirect issue. second custy; wierd.... third, a stripper with her son (who had a tail on his hair nontheless, can we all say white trash?) im bored, the people here are useless, and im prolly not getting any act today. geez, i wish six will come sooner than later....

So... First custy of the day...

C - custy
M - me

M - How can I help you?
C - How can I get this phone out of "car kit"?

M - That message indicates that the phone has been water damaged.
C - It's never been near water!!!

*** 5 minute exchange about water damage... you've heard it before ***

M - (pulls up account, pulls battery, no LDI turned) The circutry in the phone has an internal moisture detector on the board itself. You may not have gotten the battery wet but this phone has been damaged by moisture.
C - I just got this phone 6 months ago (lie)

M - Looking at your account here you do have the insurance on the phone, you would be able to get a 50 dollar replacement through them.
C - Can't you just give me a phone?

Here's a question...

Say you have a customer in your store that has an issue with their phone/billing/whatever. Another customer comes in while you're on the line with customer service trying to sort it out, and you tell them you'll be right with them. All of a sudden, the customer you're trying to help walks up to the other customer and starts badmouthing the company and your customer service. What do you do in that situation?

I would entitle it the F' off and die sign.

1. When the inline stores around me have their gates down and locked, my invisble gates are down as well, aka I'm closed and am not open to help and or service your phone. Ask me for cell phone help and I'll let you F' off and die.

2. Where in my kiosk do you see equipment that would allow me to work on your phone? There isn't any, go to a repair store not a small mall kiosk. Ask me to fix it and I'll let you F' off and die.

3. The signs on my kiosk say Sprint, does you phone say the same? If not, the only thing I can do is sell you one of mine. I don't know all the specifics about your XYZ carrier phone.
Try to get me to fix your unbranded GSM phone and I'll let you F' off and die.

i've tried looking it up but im having no luck. when you open the phone, the voice commands menu comes up automatically. how can you change that???

I started out hating her, now... not so much. (and a "What do you do" question)

So this lady comes in and wants me to activate 4 phones on her business account and transfer all the numbers.
FINE.
I should charge her, but I always feel badly asking for money for something that isn't that much of a pain.
So I do all that, and then go to activate the phones.
She doesn't have the tax ID number. cool. She calls to get it.
Finally get it, and do the esn changes.

I get to the last one and it won't let me do it. Says something about still being in corps inventory.

SO I call customer service, wait for 10 minutes, they tell me I have to talk to the tech team. Get transfered there, wait longer
Finally found out that some tardo at the corporate store she bought the phones at never sold her the phone.

help with a treo 700p bluetooth problem

Customer is having a problem with his tro 700p. When his bluetooth is connected sometimes it works and then sometimes he cant hear or be heared. This happened with two diffrent headsets. Any one else have this problem? Its brand new so it shouldnt be the unit. Someone with a cingular one had a similiar problem and said it was a setting in the phone, but cant remember what. Please help me he is a great customer. Thanks.

Southerlands is nothing like Walmart

So I needed to kill time and I couldn't find Walmart all I saw was Southerlands (Like Lowes and Home Depot) And I was just looking and I swear every freaking employee came up to me asking if I needed help finding something. I was literally hiding from them.


So who all shops at Lowes or Home Depot? And what the do you buy?

old people suck...well most people suck.

So I was in my store 30 min before I open and I hear my door start to make noises, I look up while doing paperwork and see an 80 year old man walking toward me with a bill in his hand...

om-I'm doing ok, I have 2 complaints.

Hands me bill

om- What are these charges?

me- Those are data calls sir meaning that you accessed the mobile internet from your phone its only 66 cents I will block the feature from your account.

om- Ok great, can I get a credit?

me- You can call customer service and see if they will credit it I have no power to give credits.

om- Can you call for me?

China wireless to pass 500M

China should surpass 500 million cellular connections during the third quarter, according to Wireless Intelligence, a joint venture of Ovum and the GSM Association.

The firm said China adds about 19 million connections per quarter, representing a quarterly growth rate of about 4%.

China Mobile dominates the market with nearly 70% of total subscribers and 79% of prepaid customers, said Wireless Intelligence.

No Show. (long)

I am the manager at a mall kiosk. I scheduled the new guy who has been working less than a week to work on Sunday. It is usually pretty dead, and we are only open from 12-6 anyway. so it shouldn't be that big of a deal. I was headed out of town and was going to be gone most of the day.

At about 12:30 I got a text from my friend at the next kiosk over that said "there is noone working at your kiosk" thats when I noticed I had another text message. It was the new guy he said "I am quitting" I tried to call him to get a reason or something but he wouldn't answer.

I called my other employees and my DM and told them what hapened. one of my other employees said, "Maybe I can go in" and that was just before my phone died (no charger...

so the guy has an accent I can understand him pretty good but for some reason he cannot understand me and I sat here trying to get a date from him and he did not know what a date was .. 👿
Anyways he doesn't want to pay 50 bucks for another phone so he is switching carriers to get a free one

C- I don't.

M- 😳

C- can you do a credit check for me?

M- 😳

And the worst part is she has two kids running around like retards and is pregnant, Idiocracy here we come!
