Both previous reps....

I'm dealing with a customer who wants 3 free phones. The two previous representatives BOTH noted that the phone offered is refurbished. And now he is attempting to tell me that NEITHER representative informed him that they are refurbished. Well....SURPRISE! I have a hard time believing neither customer service agent informed him of this (a sales agent, this might be a possibility but customer service AND a customer service supervisor? no..).

Now Mr. Customer says he's leaving the company for a company that will give him 3 free phones. I wish customers would realize this threat has no effect on me. It doesn't hurt my feelings and I KNOW that the company you switch to is not going to give you ANY phone you want for free ๐Ÿ™„

please dont interupt me....

.....while im going thru the opening of the call. Trust me i know its long and stupid i'd much rather say hello my names ...... how can i help you, but i have to say the opening and if you cut me off.. it doesnt make that easy. So please mr cust. or mr store rep just wait 2 more seconds.

Furthermore when i ask you for the mobile number FIRST please comply with my request instead of shouting your name and agent code which i wasn't ready for... because well i could easily write it down for when i am ready, just because your not following instructions ill act like i didn't hear you and after i get the mobile number, ill ask you for your name and agent code/store number again.

O.k im done now. have a good day.

Rude a** people man!

Im astonished at how many grown a** adults have absolutely no manners what-so-ever!

I was helping a customer look at a phone he was honest and up-front and said he really didnt know he wanted and he wasnt going to buy today, but that he would come back and see me and asked for my card.

So we looked over some phones and were narrowing down what he wanted. I kid you not mid-conversation this older white lady barges in right next to the guy ( i mean to the point i thought maybe she knew the guy somehow) And stares directly at me. Im with my other customer so I just went to make eye contact to assure her i would be right with her... Shopping the secret shopper

First of all I can't stand secret shoppers!! If corporate needs to do this, they need to hire managers that can train the sales rep corectly.
Second, secret shoppers need to be shopped themselves!!! I got shopped last week and got a 84/100. What a crock of BS!! I did all I could as this woman kept interupting me and not listening to a word I had to say. She seemed to worried to make sure she did everything she was supposed rather than paying attention to what I was doing. I tried everything to cover all the bases I needed to without dragging the woman by her hair.
The thing is, I can do the shop in my sleep as long as the dumb a$$ shopper pays attention and does what he or she is supposed to.

I hate my boss

Last night I was working with a customer. He came in the store wanting a new BB. I told him he had his over the 30 days so he could not do a return. He asked to speak to my boss when I told him I could not help him.

My boss gave him a new phone cause his company has more than 5 lines. In the future I'm going to give anyone that comes in the store a new phone if they ask for one. Its crap that my boss would do this. I work at the verizon store in denver.

Roid Rage...

We have actually had a customer get physical with one of our employees. This was a while ago, my assistant manager(lets call him mitch)at the time was the one who had opened.
He was explaining to a customer that they were outside of the 30 days and could not exchange the phone... now my mitch was this little white guy no more than maybe a buck thirty and possibly 5'7, small guy. Now the cust was a large guy.
Long story short after some heated words the man reached over the kiosk and grabbed mitch by the neck tie and proceeded to pull him over the counter. Mitch pulled back and released himself. The customer then ran over to the other side of the kiosk and was calling him out! I believe security was called at that point but I cant even ...

Attention All at&t Mobility peeps..

I would like to see if anyone else has run into this...

I have had customers come in complaining that there service is terrible now that we are at&t, but that it was perfect when it was Cingular...this astonishes me in that I was under the impression the Cingular to at&t thing was merely a name change to keep things simple...am i wrong? or are all these people just insane and have that mind over matter thing going on... I have noticed however, that the ones complaining are a lot of the time people that had AT&T wireless back in the day before the merger...and are assuming they have been put back on the old AT&T wireless network..

I dont know...just gets old. I almost want to tell them to quit thier bit*ing! It's the same network its al...

To those who work in a kiosk...

I would like to see if anyone else has this problem...

The mall in which our kiosk is located opens every morning except for Sunday at 10am. Always has, more than likely always will. I come to work roughly about 9am...that gives me about an hour to take the deposit and count inventory.
This would be plenty of time. Unless of coarse you factor in every idiot who has to ask what time the mall opens, if were open, or what time any given store in the mall opens.
I dont mind giving out directions now and then if I'm not busy. But, this is not my job...and when this interferes with me getting my job done this is when i get angry. Our lights are off and none of our merchandise is displayed what gave u the idea we were open? Store's have it e...

Blackberry Pearl question...

I just got a Blackberry Pearl 8130 and I love it....for the most part. Is there a way to get AOL messenger on it? Blackberry messenger is great but my husband spends more time on the computer and asked me to download instand messenger today...only...I don't think I can.
Is it possible? (and no I don't want to buy the $45 instant messenger package for AIM, msn, yahoo or google or what not)

We Just Lost...

A customer who is a construction worker type just said to another customer, "We just lost $20,000 because of this phone..."


Um, yeah, if you have decent money or work opportunities riding on your phone you should probably have a spare/backup in the event you decide to take it for a swim...

I don't even have money riding on my phone and I keep a spare. It's as simple as keeping your old one when you upgrade or buying a $30- 50 one on ebay.

End of the Day

Well, the day is drawing to a close. 1 1/2 hours left for us. Anything eventful? We were rather slow. There was a bat flying around the mall and girls screaming. That was the highlight of our day.

Who here is sick of people who say 'I hate to tell you this but...'

Seriously though... if you hate to post information so much, THEN DON'T DO IT!!! I'm really sick of people with their snide little remarks that just piss you off when you read them. If you think your cell phone company is so superior just keep it to yourself. I personally love my cell phone company, but I don't hate on people that have different companies. Not to piss the people who write ****y little remarks about why they think their cell phone is better than yours, but I just would enjoy reading in a forum that is a bit more civil. If you think your cell phone is better, fine! It probably is, but don't write with a b1tchy little sarcastic overtone because it just tends to really piss people off...

I understand that their have been mergers, but is it really hard to distinguish between an ATT and T-mobile? Next time someone tries to pay a T-mobile bill here, I think I'll just accept it, write a hand-written receipt, and send them on their way. ๐Ÿ˜

I dont know how they do it where you are from...

I had this lady about two months back... I'd like to call her something else but we'll just call her customer. she was looking for a phone for her father who had broken his...she was not eligible for upgrade and was of coarse speechless when she was told what a new phone would cost her outright.
I told her she could buy a pre-paid phone and it would work just the same, she may notice a little difference in her coverage, but not much. To which she replied "that's okay, it just for emergencies anyway" (they always are right?)
About 27 days down the road she comes in and wants to exchange becuase the screen wont work, to which i replied "Absolutely, let's take a look" After looking at the phone it became obvious this phone had been damaged as...
