Who do you believe more?

When dealing with customers over the phone that swear up and down that the reps in the store have told them one thing (There will be no activation/setup fee, Proration charges were not explained, i was told id receive a 50$ credit) then call in because what was said did not happen?

Do you think these people are honest and that they were just told this for the sake of a sale... or do you think every single person that calls in is a liar?

in my opinion, id say 84% of the people are full of S 😲 t, and 16% are honest. i get these calls all the time.

So slow

Ever since this Wednesday we are not getting calls into our queue for customer care here for at&t. 3 days in a row now we spend 4 to 5 hrs clocked into a downtime code doing nothing except pretending to be listening to managers give us tips. I spent 4 hrs yesterday reading The Temporal Void by Peter Hamilton. Today I am sitting staring at the computer screen.

Do customers think we care about their opinions?

when i get to the end of my calls, and i ask if there are any question, some customers decide to keep me on the phone for another 3 minutes to tell me how sprint has cheated them for years, that they have been a customer for years and deserve a free phone, etc..

those are not questions. stop assuming that i care, because i don't 😡

What Boardom does to you......

Makes you look at all the crap that goes on in the mall. The creepy security guard that stops in the middle of his walk to stare at the pretty girl. or those damn janitors that do zig zags through the mall but never actually clean anything. The stupid parents that let their kids scream for no reason, and you think why hasn't anyone created one of those monkey leashes with a muzzle. Thats how board I'am........

I really need to take a break go down to the water and breath in the air.

Dumb People

For the people who don't know, I run a kiosk inside a large grocery store.

Customer walks up to my counter....

Fat Lady: "I'd like to get a money order."
Me: "Excuse me?"
Fat Lady: "I'd like to get a money order please."
Me: "I'm sorry, but you would need to go to customer service"
Fat Lady: "Oh. Well I at least need to get the money for the money order."
Me: **blank stare of stupidity**
Fat Lady: **stare**
Me: **still staring**
Fat Lady: **looks around** "OH, this isn't Veridian!?"
Me: **standing under a 6ft company sign** "Nope."

Realizing the sheer level of stupidity now released upon this world, the lady steps aw...

Annoying Questions.

I get so irritated when a customer asks me what does this phone do....

I know they want to know what features it has, but every phone in this place (rythmes with rocket) does the same thing! Nothing really special.

One day I'm going to answer...

it self detonates when stolen.

Bill Payments

We take payments in store as do most of you..

However, with this lovely system that we use we CANNOT look up any billing information..

Why do customers come and say "I need to pay my bill" and they DON'T know what their bill is or never bring the bill with them..It means a 5 minute phone call to get their damn total and another 5 minutes in the system to get their account number and crap to post their payment..

Can they just have the information required to make it easier on both of us?

AT&T indirect channel getting iPhone, confirmed

I apologize if this is old news...I've been on vacation and out of the loop for a couple weeks. Our company had a managers meeting at the corporate office yesterday and we got some pretty detailed info regarding the iPhone release....Per my ARSM (AT&T corp rep), we will be getting it on March 31st, maybe sooner, but definitely no later. This is not something I am excited about based on what information I've been provided. Now keep in mind they are still hammering out the details, but this is pretty close to do a done deal...

iPhone sales will be compensated at a flat $25 to the selling company. That is next to nothing. For example, our company makes about $140.00 in commission on an upgrade on a secondary line. The company literally wil...

I need some tips. I was doing really good about getting out of wrap and working on my work while waiting for another call but my call times are still a bit high and my hold times are still up there.

Any tips?
