Rich, over the past two days, I have seen the site down for no more than half an hour each day... is this a site issue? or does it have something to do with the browser I'm using?

Out of curiousity, I was wondering two thing:

1. Do you work in the wireless industry, or is running this site your full time job?

2. What prompted you to start this website? Obviously, you have a liking for the cellular/wireless world, but was it something more than that?

Sorry for the brief no-login period tonight. It was necessary for moving the database without losing any forum messages, user reviews, etc. (Can't move a database while it's changing!)

No downtime for the site, though, and only 45 minutes of not logging in - not bad for moving a large site like this! 😉

But anyway - please let me know if you notice any glitches or oddities. A lot changed behind the scenes, so there are bound to be some issues.

I was comparing phones earlier today and noticed the bold print versus the regular print in the listings. I looked for a "key" guide to explain but could not find one. What does the bold print signify versus the regular print?!?THX...

there are alot of good people who are playing by the rules over at the lounge.....i myself know that the one thread is long but people are posting on it and having fun....i don't understand why people need to come here and try to get people kicked off or whatevr because people are having FUN.....its the lounge....i could see if it was on another forum or violating tou but it hasn't. psyke and several others have tried to make it seem like that the lounge is for serious discussions but why would it be called a lounge?...if i am doing something wrong tell me please but don't make others pay for the whining that goes on in here......thanks..... 😳

Make it so we can ignore certain posters, and or certain threads. It may or may not help, but you know, anything would be better then the current situation.

I was wanting to know if you could break up the whale in the lounge. The mammoth thread (in the loosest of terms) is becoming VERY obtrusive and making it nearly impossible to maintain a sense of order!

The thread consists of a great many conversations all under one heading, and not a coherent topic in the lot! It started because they wanted to see if they could "spam" the whole first page and didn't realize that the page just expands to maintain X number of threads!

I already know the answer, but help us please!

Has any consideration been given to have the layout of the site be dynamic. Where it would expand to fill larger monitors or higer resolutions.

This is completely a cosmetic question and I know there are far more pressing issues. I was just curious.

We just launched a refresh of the site code.

There are a lot of changes, but most of them are back-end things that shouldn't look or work any different from before.

But if you notice anything that doesn't work, or doesn't work or look as good as it did last week, please let me know.

I am trying to choose between a Nokia 6230 and a Nokia 6620. I've looked at the reviews and come up with nothing that majorly diffrentiates the two other than perhaps the size. Which one is the better choice? I don't intend to use the phone for internet and stuff too much, more for basic phonecalls. A wierd circumstance has landed me in this situation where I must choose between one of the two.

Based on reading many posts here I know not many use the spell check feature, but for those that do can we have the carriers added? Cingular, Verizon, Nextel, etc. all show up as misspelled.

I was curious how do u decide what makes it to the latest phones list. I've seen the slvr v8 on the moto website for a long time now and the phone wasn't on the site till today. So i was real curious, if u can answer thankns.
