Hey, I'm Phydeaux, and I don't know if I've posted this before or not, but I figured what the hey, might as well ask if I have.

I may have inquired before about the use of this message board... it's quite well organized for the format that it's in, but the usenet-like architecture leaves much to be desired. Has/Is the phonescoop staff planning on taking the forums to something more dynamic and easier to navigate, like phpbb or punbb?

I'd think this would make it easier to keep track of topics, crack down on abusers, have more topics displayed per page and be able to actively use the forums as a referencing resource, instead of just something where I come to burn time, I'd rather it be the place for me to go when I need to look into som...

I was curious if anyone could shed some light on the beginnings of Phonescoop.

I was reading through the "About Us" and saw that

Phone Scoop is a free service provided by Phone Factor, LLC, a Pennsylvania, USA limited-liability company specializing in information about mobile phones.

I wasn't able to find much info on Phone Factor, LLC itself and was curious if this was a startup between friends.

What I would be interested to know is how was Phonescoop conceived and who conceived it?

I discovered that the site info traced back to Scottsdale Arizona - Domains by Proxy, Inc. - but Phone Factor was based in Pennsylvania. Was this done for tax reasons perhaps or just part of the GODADDY registration pr...

I would like to apologise for my behavior on the Cingular forum today. I should have just left it alone, but when people are on there telling the public that the reps that are on the site are terrible at their job when the only evidnnce they have is postings by the reps, it aggravates me. Cingular has a bad enough name, and for it to be made worse by a public forum is mind boggling.

I love my new SX66 but am not having any luck in getting different ring-tones and wallpaper. I also want to transfer some music files on my computer to the windows media player in the phone. . . Is this possible? Does anyone know how to make Picture ID work? Here's hope that these can be done!!

So today I was going to Phonescoop.com and left off the 'e' and it ends up taking me to some Nextel Authorized agent... I got interested and typed in Phonesoop.com, Phonescop.com and Phoescoop.com and all were the exact same page advertising for phones. Then I tried Ponescoop.com which redirects you to Phonescoop.org. I guess Rich has made a lasting impression... Keep up the good work...

Am I the only person here who lately cannot access phonescoop at all from AOL? It works fine in IE, even on my phones mobile browser. But not AOL!?! grah!

i think it would be nice if you gust incorperated the 3 major carriers in canada (telus, rogers, bell).i know a lot of the call centers for alot of the carriers already on this site are located in canada and a lot of the reps use this site for refrence. it would be nice to be able to see wich phones are coming out in canada.

i posted threads in all of the forums to get some people to go to the canadian forum so i could talk to people other than the people in the lounge, and they all dissapeared...what happened?

I know that I want a BT cellphone & would appreciate having a BlueTooth forum where people discuss the different brands and models. So far I have done small, small research on Jabra, Iogear, and Plantronics earbuds/earpieces, but would appreciat member input.

Questions I have without knowing much about BT earpieces are: What are the drawbacks? I know that one has to do with draining the battery, but what about others? Is anything disabled when one puts on an earbud/earpiece? Can you hear music thru the BT earpiece? And more.

I notice that I have been learning BT info piecemeal, incidentally and believe that a forum just for BT would get a lot of attention. It's the new technology and people have questions.

I would also like to report KCShadowDragon. He has referred to me and my friends as retards. This really upsets me because Im very self conscious about my IQ.

Rich please ban Newfette from ever coming in this chat room again. She has called my friend stupid and has also called him a midget. My friend is really 4' 2". These kind of comments really hurt his feelings. She also made fun of my mothers death in the Shop Talk. Thank You very much for your time Rich.
