What has happened to phonescoop????????

I have been a member of this site for about 1 year but I have frequented it much longer than that. It used to be an amazing tool for the industry (both employees and customers), but it has become very bad recently. Here is what I am talking about (from another forum). This is a post that was for me and my response to it:

Hey SForsyth01,

In other posts I see you slamming everything people have to say, and I just came across one where you replied to someone: "I'm not in wireless at all....idiot."

1. Why are you spending so much of your time in a wireless forum? Loser.

2. You couldnt possibly understand whats happening to us if your not an employee....especially a Blue one.

Adding Airplane Mode Field?

Is there any reason why Airplane/Standalone mode isn't listed on phone models, considering that the FAA recently allowed Airplane Mode for electronic devices, so the phone can still be used as an organizer, or music player? It's something that would have influenced my choice between phones one way or the other so shouldn't be on the feature list?

Also, have you gotten any of the emails, I sent in a bunch of corrections through the website, and haven't seen a response, or revision to the site?

where to buy the phone

I have purchased a phone through this side and I wish that I had not done. first of all, wire fly or what ever the name of the company, untill they sell you the phone for every questions you have asked the answer is what you would have like to be. Once you get the phone and after the first month return period is over, good luck for finding any help. They also lie about the process. for instance, I specifically asked the guy what is the turn around for the rebate to come. he said it typically take 4 to 6 weeks. I only found out after I got the package and reading everything and you can not even submit the rebate form for at least 6 months from the tmie that you have made the purchase. And during that waitintg priod most people are fed u...

Re: Rich and Eric

Dear Rich & Eric,

I have been an avid reader of phonescoop for about 8 months now, though I've never, until recently, become a member. I work at an insurance company for mobile phones and this website is my sanity during the slow times. It is the reason I have become good at what I do, and it is the reason I was chosen to supervise our trainees. I applaud you for your skills, both in web languages and site management. This is a clean, well-run wealth of information. Thank you for this invaluable resource to our industry, and thank you for your time.

Auction Results - What an Amazing Effort!

To those of you who helped spread the word, bid on or won items in our charity auction for the Red Cross, thank you.

Thanks to your generosity and the generosity of many companies, auctions on the participating sites: Phonescoop, Gizmodo, Gizmo Ranch, Geekzone and All About Symbian raised over $6000 for the Red Cross. Every penny of which went right into the Red Cross's pockets.

We'd like to thank, and to congratulate all of you on the amazing generosity you showed. As any Simpsons fan can tell you: A noble spirit embiggens the smallest man.

Sprint lacks BlueTooth in its descriptor list on Phone Scoop. Why?

Rich, when I went to the Phone Scoop Sprint site to check for their BlueTooth phones, the descriptor list does not list BlueTooth followed by a Yes or No checklist. When I went to the Cingular PhoneScoop site (to check to see if other sites similarly lacked a BlueTooth option in the descriptor list), the descriptor list DID have BlueTooth listed, followed by the Yes or No option.

Why do the Sprint descriptor lists not mention BlueTooth at all? It would make it easier for those of us who are looking for BlueTooth phones and want to find out with a quick glance at the list on the left hand side.
