Pennyless10 stated that any half decent American would keep their money in the US by purchasing the iPhone and not the Voyager. I was defending the Voyager and every half decent American VW custeromer by telling pennyless in so many words, that their statement makes no sense because their saying that any half decent American VW (CDMA network) customers should purchase a GSM network phone (the iPhone) regardless of the fact that the iPhone is not supported by ...

Oh I'm sorry for not being clear. I only meant that Verizon's voice/data plans for the smartphones and blackberrys are sort of expensive when you don't have a business need for them (which I don't) and it's those prices that concern me. I gotta say though, even the voice/data bundles are kind pricy for people like me who hardly ever send texts, pics, or videos. I just want unlimited mobile access that doesn't use my peak ...

Sweetie, the LG Voyager has been offered to a carrier who's network can't even support the iPhone so I'm pretty sure a lot of half decent Americans will be purchasing the Voyager when it comes out.

The Voyager's NOT an iPhone Imitation
Oct 3, 2007, 6:39 PM
in the Article: Verizon Wireless Unveils Holiday Lineup forum

The Voyager is a unique phone. Yes it's touch screen feature reminds you of the iPhone but it's Qwerty keyboard is evidence in itself that the phone is no knockoff of apple's device. I think it is going to do extremely well. It has that touchscreen, it can be used as a multimedia center, and it's attractive. I wouldn't be surprised if people drop their current contracts and come over to Verizon just for this ...

Sounds like your music was converted to an acceptable file type for the phone. All my music is converted to wma files prior to synchronization. I noticed when my music was in MP3 format, I could not view them on the phone. Therefore I could not play them. WIH

There's a possibility that your memory card may not be pushed all the way in your phone and the files you do see may be on your phone and not the card. Remove your transflash from the phone. Make sure that the the side with the writing is faced down as you reinsert the card. Use your fingernail to push the card in and slightly downward till you hear a click. Check for your files. ...

How did you transfer the music? Did you use the VCAST music kit because you can not transfer music directly from your computer to your transflash, I've tried. You have to use the music kit.

I've had the H500. I thought the sound quality and volume was ok. However, I took back the H500 after speaking with a Motorola rep who told me that that particular headset drains the batteries of CDMA network phones quicker than other bluetooth headsets. I can honestly say, now that I have another bt headset, I can see the rep was right. Currently I have the Moto H700 but I'm about to take that back ...

Don't worry about the new software upgrade for this phone. It's no threat to anyone. I just bought the ugraded version of the 950 four days ago and the new version allows you to download your own mp3s to the phone and buy the new VCAST music. It's great. I haven't used the VCAST music service yet, but I like having the capability on my phone because sometimes I just want to download one song ...

That upside down imaging, is a defect. I had two 970s and both did that at some point. Your image should always be right side up, no matter which way the display is turned. Something isn't computing properly within your phone. If you are within the 15 day trial, you can swap the phone for another new one. If you have exceeded your 15 days, they'll still swap it out but you'll get a ...

Ok, I just upgraded to the poorly assembled RAZR V3c and just like the 970, I'm going to return it for a full refund. Sounds to me like the two of you lucked up with this phone. Like a VW technician told me, each unit is different. But for those of us with legitimate complaints, we seem to have purchased bad phones and that really sucks! It's bad business to sell customers phones that were, for the most part, poorly assembled. Mislead? If you are a VW customer, you definitely were not mislead. Verizon advertised just what the phone could do or at least what they would allow it to do. We don't know what phones are coming out in '06. We rely on this site to keep us informed of that information. Verizon doesn't even tell their reps what's being released until they are just about to put it on the market. The purpose of that is to minimize leaks.
