I think this phone lineup is somewhat of a surprise strategy for Verizon as that isn’t really their forte. This changes things somewhat but I think the most important factor has to deal with if they are going to put any restrictions on these devices and how are the data plans with them. That Voyager is a very snazzy device.

Oh I'm sorry for not being clear. I only meant that Verizon's voice/data plans for the smartphones and blackberrys are sort of expensive when you don't have a business need for them (which I don't) and it's those prices that concern me. I gotta say though, even the voice/data bundles are kind pricy for people like me who hardly ever send texts, pics, or videos. I just want unlimited mobile access that doesn't use my peak minutes and I have to pay $15 for V-Cast to get that even though I don't care for the videos (somebody correct me if I'm wrong. I would love to only pay for unlimited mobile web with my voice plan and call it a day...

Voice and data plan will not be a problem. You get ur minutes and then you get v-cast for $15 with unlimited internet. And if you get a premium plan $79.99 for 450 min, unltd txt/pix/flix/im/vcast/mobile web/email/vz-nav. Wow. I can't wait to get my hands on this thing. Also Voyager will have HTML browser so no more mobile web.

Because these new phones don't actually introduce any new network features, you should expect to get the same data and voice options that VZW currently offers.
