is there a time where they will send you a completely different phone, cuz ive been sending them back my nokia 3120 so mayn times cuz of its deffectiveness its getting ridiculous! and i keep buying MEdia Net downloads!

YEah, call up cingular's warranty exchange line, they will mail you a replacement in 2 days, and then you ship yours out using their box and packing slip

I had the 39.99 Family Talk plan and I recently had it changed to the New plan, seems I get 50 more minutes, plus unlimited N&W minutes, they also said that since I'm in the first half of my contract, that I won't require a contract extension, so far so good... I like the new plan! 8)

My mom told them her situation and they terminted the ETF w/o any kind of "proof" I guess they took our word for it cuz how many people actually lie about someone dying??

My mom just added her brother to her Cingular account and unfortunately he passed away suddenly, but its been like 2 months, will the waive the ETF in this case? :(

Well if you read my 1st thread then you would realize that i was talking about GoPhones, which are without contract. Go look at the GoPhones and you'll see that they're $69.99.

Plus, tmobile has the nokia 6010 for only 39 dollars vs. cingular has theirs for 69 dollars, thats a major rip. Also, Tmo has unlimited incoming sms and mms messages, which i find great cuz if you're low on minutes and someone needs to contact you, they can always just text you and you can either call em back using another phone, etc. just like a pager. good points here

I agree adams, it doesnt make sense for a warranty to start the day it was made, cuz there might be a long time before that phone is sold for various reasons.

I thought the warranty was 1 year from purchase date by a customer.... so you're saying if someone buys a phone thats already 3 months old (from being on a shelf), they only have 9 months left on the warranty?
