I address this to you my dear customer.

Why is you paying your invioce on time a special thing. Honestly you paying for celluar service is not a favour for us. It is a business transaction. We give you service you pay for it. i fail to see any logical reason why you paying for it ontime is a specail thing that merits us giving you money/free phones/the moon and stars. Why is that you feel that becuase you follow through with your end of the bargin (the you pay for service part) that you should get a specail deal. I person look at paying my cell bill as responciblity and not me doing Rogers a favour. But then again i think slightly different then most poeple. Please someone let me know why paying ones bills on time is such a big...

I honestly don't get why they through that at us either. Woopy freaking doo, I pay my bills through AUTOMATIC payments, guess what I got entered into a contest for that. Reason, so that I don't have to waste time calling Rogers, bothering them with my payment, wasting my time and I KNOW all charges are legit no matter how much I dispute and MUST be taken care of immediately so I avoid late fees and service shut off.

You want special treatment, make you payment ahead of time, just keep putting down a normal months worth of service then pay what remains. If you miss a payment, well at least the late fee is like one cent.

True, but the original poster makes a valid point. A customer (no matter what company) is expected to make their payment by the due date. A lot of wireless customers think that by paying their bill by the due date that it somehow makes them the greatest customer and that they should be rewarded for that with free stuff. The company supplies the service and the customer supplies the payment - simple as that. When I get my electric bill I pay it - on time. I don't think that my electric company owes me anything other than the service that they provide me. I think that this is a deeper problem than wireless - it is indicitive of our society as a whole. It's nothing more than "gimmie gimmie gimmie." When will people grow up?

When every single carrier smartens up and stops Giving discounts on phones. Giving more minutes to cust. Stops issueing ANY credit thats is not to fix carriers error. And misunderstanding on cust part is NOT carrier error!

Once that happens.... then 2 yrs later cust will stop the gimmie gimmie gimmie attitude.

As Kingy I'm sure will point out that this problem we have with SOME cust is due in large part to the actions of the company
