I have used 35Gigs a month or more since Sept 2011 with Verizon(Motorola Bionic). PDAnet app w/unlimited data. Never received a warning or any throttling of my speed. I used 70gigs last month 8) . No cable/internet bill. Computer connected to Flat screen, netflix/hulu, pix/video uploading to facebook and youtube. If you have unlimited, you should be able to do whatever the hell you want as that was in the contract terms when you ...

Seriously, your actually bashing on Motorola cause of the windows based Moto Q series from 4 years ago!?!?! When it comes to Android platform phones, Motorola is simply leading in the terms of specs/quality. No droid is perfect but since 11/2009 the Droid lineup with Motorola exceed what the other manufacturers have brought to the table. Please think through your post before babbling online, k , thanks. Best Buy will not be the only ones selling the HTC Thunderbolt. Totally false. Even other authorized retailers are going to be selling it as ordering managers have already been working out the first shipments. Our stores have already received the Model mock ups as well. Best Buy attempted to be the only seller but that was quickly shot down around the CES in January.

PDAnet is a fantastic one time purchase app available for Blackberries, Droids and Iphones. Verizon cant tell its Tethering. Either they cant, or they dont care...though they "reserve the right". I have a friend that uses 10 to 15gigs a month cause hes downloading movies and been fine for over a year.

You can keep your nickel. Verizon Droids use as much or more data than a Iphone and Verizons network has been just fine thanks. Google "Droids use more data than Iphone?" CDMA network ftw! 8)

Works great. It actually is available for Blackberrys and Iphones as well. Data test speeds actually would outperfom my Aircard, so I cancelled it!

Just download PDANet in Android Market for free tethering and unlimited. You do pay something around $20 bucks after the 30 day trial. But its legit. Its allowed by Verizon, they know about it and dont restrict it and its part of you Unlimited data plan. I have used it since Dec 09 on my Droids.

When he says, "Its up to Apple," this is whats up. ATT gives Apple $900,000,000 a quarter in revenue to have the Iphone with ATT. Think about that, almost 4 Billion dollars of much needed network enhancing, company improving money that gets tossed at Apple just to be able to offer it, a phone. We have heard it straight from the South Area President and Regional Directers. Verizon's not gonna give Apple all that money ...

Every Eris we activate has less than 60% battery life and they always get the update within 2 minutes of programming. They come from the manufacturer with about 30% so it doesnt have to be over 60%. So to answer your question, when you activate a 2.0.1 Moto Droid 5 days after the OTA update has been sent, within a couple of minutes your phone is gonna get it.

Yeah. I am loving mine on 2.0.5 Bagel clocked the processor at 1Ghz. Blazing fast and beautiful. The huge plus for me is I get BETTER battery life with SetCPU than before which is astonishing. Amazing what scaling down the processor while in sleep/standby does for battery life.

You can seach 'Sholes' in Market to bring up Sholesmod to load some 2.1 features on your Droid and Root it. Great part for me is removing the "Car Mode".
