There will be nothing more then an eventual agreement made to let everyone just make what they want. Apple is only suing HTC to make a point with their Nokia Battles that everyone is doing it. There is no way that they will be compensated greatly or that anyone will be made to change the way the design or build something.

I see by your post you are not a Fan of HTC (I'm impartial) but your Godly Iphone is not anywhere close to perfect. Lets just say its a Big Pile of Crap IMO

Actually it was an HTC issue- they had a bad batch of keyboards. Amazingly, their answer was to re-flash the phone (which obviously didn't fix it.)

Good riddance to bad garbage.

Also open source is nice but not always better. (E.G. Ubuntu is worse than Windows)
