Use PDA Net for tethering on your Iphone, your Blackberry or your Droid. Seriously, its $29 cost FOREVER and thats after a 30 day trial. Works great and no one, including Verizon can see that your back door tethering on the unlimited $29.99 data plan.

Any blah blah blah "violates terms of service" blah blah blah need not be posted, thanks in advance. Its been around a long time now and no one has had problems with bills.

Merry Christmas.

I think that's the whole point of the data restructuring. You can't "beat the system" if you have metered GB allowances. Your PDAnet will save you the $20 monthly tethering surcharge, but the data consumed will still be metered at the $10/GB rate! Watch out!

This is a big win for reasonable, low-end users and a big win for AT&T bean counters. The high-usage consumers that frequent this board, however, just took one in the shorts.

Look for everyone but Sprint to follow suit. Once they stop bleeding customers, Sprint will do this, too.

A big win, eh? Hmmmm...so much for me getting the iphone 4G. Damn, still stuck with Verizon (for the moment). I guess I will see how the Evo goes with Sprint...

Very good point Azeron, and I don't care if ATT's 3g is faster then Sprints, because in all reality, the differences in speed make almost no appreciable differences on a phone. Unlimited data does make a difference.
