Re: And now
Hasn't someone else said that today....?
And now
I'm freezing, and my fingernails are all slightly bluish because of it, except for the one I just squashed between my chair and my desk, which is turning a nice purple. The pain from that is making me sick to my stomach, and I just want to break down and cry.
I'm seriously thinking about telling my sup I'm going home, except she's nowhere to be found. Maybe I should just clock out and leave.
So, this is NOT a good day
I was put into email care with NO warning. Literally. I finished a ticket for a different queue, clicked next, and got an eticket. I haven't been in this queue in weeks, and was only trained a month or so ago. I HATE ecare, because I work the escalated queue when I'm in it, meaning EVERY SINGLE customer is PISSED by the time they get to me.
So, out of my last ten customers, I've been cursed at by nine ...
Yep, just do what I did
Quit. :D
Less than two weeks left!!!!!!
Re: lol
I've had so many customers threaten to cancel because of either no more yearly upgrades or because they think the end of the Premier program means their plan is changing. "Ok, sure, you can cancel, but as stated in your Terms and Conditions we can change or end that program at anytime, so if you cancel your ETF is NOT going to be waived. But, here, let's let Account Services tell you that."
Would have
if I wasn't quitting the week before TG. :D
Hey Sisyphus......
Do you think this phone will be better than the Droid 3? That's currently my choice for a new phone when I'm eligible this December, but now I'm thinking this new Nexus Galaxy will be better. I trust your opinions on this stuff though. What do you think about it?
Mine was
two weeks, then two weeks in "Learning Lab" where we were live on the phones but had access to extra help.
A few classes after mine they moved to six week trainings. Now I think they're back to four.
Re: There are good days
AGREED!!!!
Gahhhhhhhh
And now I'm not allowed to talk to anyone except the customers. Ever. At all. And I'm still not allowed to actually research issues before calling people.
This is what I was told during my coaching session today.

Re: Alright
Letters. Snail mail. I give them one call, then send a letter back to them. You wouldn't believe how many people send a post letter and expect an answer within a week. 8O
#**^(@#@!*(&^#$!@#$@
So.... they recently changed my goal at work from 3.2 an hour to 7 an hour. I told my sup that that's fine if all we're getting is address changes or payments, but when we get complaints or billing issues we have to research them and that takes a while sometimes. Answer I got? Don't research them before calling the customer. 8O
I'm expecting a conversation to go like this...
Me: Hi, Mr. Customer, I'm calling about an letter ...
This made my day.
So, I just overheard a conversation one of my friends had with a customer.
Friend: Hi, this is C with ______ customer service, calling to verify your address - (gets cut off)
Cust: Who??
Friend: C, with _____ customer ser-
Cust: I don't know you.
Friend: Well, sir, I'm with _____
Cust: You could be Santa Claus for all I know! I'm not talking to you!!
Friend: No sir, I'm C., not Santa Claus. I think I would know if I were Santa. I'd be wearing ...
GAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Work is going to drive me insane! They keep switching us between queues - without telling us!!!!
I just have to keep reminding myself it's less than a month until I get out of here.....
And this thread
was started on Oct 29, 2010. 12 more days before it's been a year.... Think we can make 1000 in 2 1/2 months?
Re: *Sigh*
Can't suspend someone who's not yet a customer!!
What's he gonna do, get an account and immediately put it on suspension?? What's the point?
Awww....
it died again.....
The thread, not alpaca's bosses. Though they may have too....
God bless it
They're playing musical queues at work again.... guess who got voluntold that she was going to something new, starting today? After "training" of course, which with this place will probably be a grand total of three minutes.
AND
No insurance through us, and our stores/tech support AREN'T GOING TO TOUCH IT. So if you break it or something happens to it, don't call us, call Apple, and hope to god you bought their repair program plan, because otherwise you're going to be SOL.
Well then....
I'll be happy to transfer you to account services. By the way, each line on your account currently has a termination fee of 200.00 since you just upgraded last month.
I know. That's the point. Everyone's asking about eh iPhone 5, and this is what they release.
Hey guess what? Here's the answer.

Well good for you.
Re: Wow
Sprint does allow you to buy phones with no contract. You just don't get a discount on the phone and have to pay full MSRP if you decide not to sign up for a contract extension.
Epic customer name
His name was Hee Roe.
Nah
I have no desire to copypaste so much stuff. Though it was awesome....
Re: 363
Maybe Speedy should have posted his 34 post transcript of Starwars Episode IV here instead of the lounge...

Nothing to talk about to make this more interesting?
Awesome
I get a point for proving I can count.
Hooray!!
Can I give you a point for giving me a point?
Pretty much
Let us know how it goes.
Re: i'm screwed.
I've written notes like that.... luckily I've deleted them before saving.
Good luck, and remember, no matter what happens, there will always be a permanent warning to other agents about that customer! Even if you get fired, you might save someone else's job by that warning....
So yeah
you have to count. :P

How can you find out how many posts there have been, btw? Besides counting each individual one, I mean.
Sure I will
as soon as you do so as well. :)
Re: ^ another fail.
Hey, we all have issues with the emoticons sometimes....
Wow
Pretty sure the goal of 1000 by the end of the year isn't going to happen, unless you can get some people to start posting here....
Awesome!!
Good for them! Now if other states would follow along and pass the same law, it would be even better.
Hmmm
It's cable internet at home, not sure who the isp is right now. I'll have to check.
At work is where I have the most problems though, and I don't have a clue what they use.
Same
From both work and home.
At Work I'm using IE 6, from home I use Chrome.
IE seems to log me out more often and have more issues with a log in taking, but Chrome does it too on a regular basis. It also seems to be happening more often recently, as I've had to log back in seven or eight times today.
