a friend gave me her old 9550. is it possible to only turn on wifi, connect to a router and use all web apps or do i need to register this phone with verizon? i'de like to use it like the ipod touch wifi only. i'de turned off mobile network and bluetooth. i turned on wifi. connected to a router and when i try to browse the web i get "unable to connect to the internet, ...

i personaly have the $69.99 700 min family plan. i read on howardsfurums.com that the $59.00 is still available. i didn't find out if it was only via cs over the phone.

the $59.99 family plan is the cheapest. its just not advertised. i think you get 500 shared minutes.

i just got a motorola micro usb car charger and plan to use it for my lg chok3 phone. on the charger it says: entrada 10,8-33voc salida 4,75-5,25voc any idea if this is the proper voltage for the lg chok3? thanks

verizon sells a microusb car charger for the chok3. i found a motorola microusb car charger for less $$$ for motorola phones and bluetooth. can i use the motorolo microusb car charger for my lg chok3 phone?

with the economy as bad as it is, what have people been offering to do to get a discounted/free phone? some time ago someone said a woman offered some favors just for a free phone. wow!!!

1) one bug is the backlight for the keypad. i set it to always on and it goes off when the screen goes off. 2) the voice dial is not a bug buy a bad quality voice recognition product. lg has this software and samsung has their software. samsung software is much better then lg when it comes to voice dialing

i also had the samsung a950. i'm now borowing my wifes old lg 8300. the lg phone works well but the bluetooth voice command system is terrible compared to the a950. 1) how is the bluetooth voice command system on the chock3? 2) how is the reception? 3) how is battery life?

i read that someone was able to get skype to work on a samsung i760. i searched for install instructions with no luck. has anyone here had success. if so, can you direct me to some instructions? did skype work over the wifi service of over verizons evdo data service? thanks

i have the acii 500 minute family plan with verizon. i will travel to the bahamas this week. verizons website shows: bahama is $1.29/minute + minutes. puerto rico is $0.69/minute + minutes. i thought i read somewhere that puerto rico was included in th acii plan whats the real story on pricing ti bahams and puerto rico?

can verizon only send me alert sms?

i disable sms with verizon since i don't use it. unfortunately, i can't receive alerts from verizon or the gov. can verizon turn on the free alert sms for my phone but disable all other sms?

when if lg8350 going to be buy 1 get 1 deal?

from what i recall, they started off/on about 1 year before the 8350 hot the street. are you saying that the 8350 was on the way about 1 year before it came. i recall the bygo deal for the 8300 around thanks giving 2006. maybe even earlier

when are the buy one get one free deals comming?

i compared the current and new national plans and the minutes and price appear the same. the only diff is the price for how you download data from what you've seen/heard, will the minutes and price remain the same?

were is this verizon store? here in ny i can't find anyone who carries then never mind selling them for $50? on the testman site they were going for $179 - $50 mir from what i recall.

when will the 8350 dummy or actual phones show up in stores?

if the phones are still under the 1 year warrenty, take them to a tech in a verizon store and tell them that you constantly get droped calls. if they can't find anything wrong, they should replace the phone. if the replacement needs to be done more then 3 times, you are elligible for a different phone on the same lever as the current phone as determined by a list from the tech. overall verizon has great service ...

i read through the forums and need help on adding new ringtones to an lg8300 fro free. i found you can add by emailing an attachment or using bitpim. is there any other way to add ringtones by sing a microsd card and plasing the mid or mp3 file in a certain folder?
