VZW GETTING SAMSUNG 550

Hmm... they're bringing back CDMA Nokias that are actually made by Nokia, instead of crappy ol' Pantech? Whoa. 😳

Guess Nokia really is serious about getting their lost North American marketshare back.

Yeah, they're serious about it, but not as serious as VZW is about restricting it. According to the Nokia rep, VZW is telling Nokia what features they want the phones to have and Nokia is making them accordingly. Guess there goes my shot at a CDMA N95 🙄

It's not "All about the Network"

Nokia won't bastardize their premium phones for Verizon. Thye are thrwoing a bone though in case Verizon truly opens their network...and BT capabilities

They actually canned their CDMA production because of a disagreement with Qualcomm. It had nothing to do with Verizon, and it still has nothing to do with Verizon.

So Qualcomm has nothing to do with Verizon?

You will never see a phone like the N95 or N82 on Verizon.....Yeah you will see the low end for those who live upgrade to upgrade.
