i read that someone was able to get skype to work on a samsung i760. i searched for install instructions with no luck.
has anyone here had success. if so, can you direct me to some instructions?

I did some basic research over at howard forums and the consensus is that you can get it up and running on your phone. Download the mobile client and use that. According to posts I have read, it will over both wifi and EVDO, though wifi or Rev A. is recommended.
Some people were experiencing crashes awhile ago using version 2.2 of the client, so it is/was recommended to use a slightly older version 2.2.0.18. That may have been fixed now, I don't know.

Boy, stick to talking about what you know something about. Which, in your case, means staying quiet. Verizon updated their policies w/ regards to VOIP awhile ago and it is now considered acceptable use.

Well, I admit that when I went and downloaded it, Verizon did send thier Ninja Network Assassins, but thanks to my mad foosball skills, I was able to take them out with my air hockey paddle.
