dumb phone and smart phones
I wonder how this will be done with basic phones on the same family plan as smart phones. Maybe basic family data and smartphone family data packages?
Re: No Merger would be Better for T-Mobile
its money t-mobile would have spent anyway, hence why it would be owed if the merger fell through.
Re: Infuse microUSB port does double as an HDMI port...
you must have your charger plugged into the hmdi adapter that comes with the phone for the tv out to work, it does show everything your doing on the phone though which is cool

Miss.Nerdy said: or how just simply removing the battery from the phone can fix hald maybe 3/4 of their problems! if everyone over 50 pulled their batteries out then i wouldnt have to worry about half of the ppl that come into my store lol

SquareCircuit said: i believe it probably has to do a lot with the graphics capability of the phone for video out , i am no expert but i just assume that's why the Evo has support for it anyone else know about other requirements that could be the reason some got skipped?' sorry for the bad sentences long long day.. Re: What I wish I could say to the customer sometime...
"you are NOT loyal, I am not the entire company so dont come talk to me like its my fault when your bill is due and your brat children have ran it up with texting and data that they 'will not do'. You WILL pay the fees and prices that everyone else does, and dont cut me off after you asked me a question or I will push that imaginary button that cuts your service on and off. Now...what ...

Ghosthendrikson said: Wow. It's agents like you who give the rest of us a bad name. You clearly have no idea what she was talking about when it comes to referal sales. "Sorry for making you do your job." You are making her job even harder, because YOU are NOT doing your job correctly. Then again I feel like I am wasting my time because you're probably not going to be employed in the industry for more than another two ...

callcenterrep69 said: please remember customer referrals are almost more important than any advertisement can do. You honestly think I care if people come back to the company I work for? We are the lemmings, it means nothing to me. Sorry for making you do your job. :)
Re: My mechanic is an a****** customer!!
Mechanic?... OH! you mean the guys that rip you off. Its nice to know how to work on your own cars to avoid ever going to a shop....labor? pffft. If people only knew how much mechanics get out of them (even the nice ones)
Re: This is old news...
your right, I know when i activated any messaging phone it always gave me the option to add messaging unlike if I were activating a smartphone it would always require you to add a data plan. So I never enforced it, I would rather make what I could off the upgrade/activation than lose the sale completely over a 'required' feature.

OrionsVantage said: You realize that nobody in the store actually gives two sh*ts if you come into the store and complain. The guys in the store can't change policy, have no connections to anybody that can change policy and are quite frankly, just trying to earn a paycheck so they can pay their bills If you truly have such a problem, make your displeasure known with your wallet, but don't give other people a hard time over something that is ...

enough about this buyout! this is shoptalk, wheres the threads about ignorant customers?!
lol obviously that guy has no clue what hes talking about. Its bad if your OPINION is wrong. He sounds like a classic wireless customer..
Re: Whats the difference?
Re: About time
simple, when you click 'accept' or 'continue' thats unless your a customer...then you NEVER push those buttons apparently
People come in all the time and just want us to run a check on a line just to see if they have a deposit. It isnt any differnt when they call in for the same thing and hangup because they probably dont feel like listening to the exit speech
Re: my day off
oh chit dood
Re: But now that you already got one..........
nobody is losing their unlimited data plans, like said above your grandfathered in and that includes everyone that has activated or will activate a smartphone till they say "hey, we have tiered data." Once you have it, keep it. Even you ppl that use less than 100mb a month and think you that need it..
that will be the day....we'll never hear the end of customers calling it the iphone 5g. as in 5g data, not 5th gen
Re: When will customers learn the difference?
customer do NOT know the difference, they think they do but 98% of the time there completely wrong. The other 2% their partially wrong. Also, you can warranty a phone taken off of an account (with att at leat). They run the imei and if the phone is under a year old with no physical or water damage then it can be replaced.
Re: watch phone
I activated a watch phone a couple weeks ago. Come to find out it was for someone in prison that wanted to talk with the oustide world, It had a camera too lol

SavageKitty said: true, though I like the image of someone bringing in a completely beat up phone and claiming it is the phones fault ah yes. Reminds me of the customers that have water damaged phones. The phones LDI is bloodshot red and I ask if the phone has been water damaged to see if they lie or not, then break it to them that I already know..muahah

Re: Grumpy old lady
SavageKitty said: Maybe it is a piece of junk because she is slamming it on the counter and who knows how many times she has done that before. It probably is a piece of junk like every other basic phone on the market. You get what you pay for is what i tell my customers. 'old lady' term hints that she possibly picked the lowest and worst of everything the carrier offers
Re: Marketing is cool.
anything to do with att your going to hate jayshmay. Add an avatar pic, sig or change your name stating how much you really hate att and it would save you a lot of time from one-sided opinions that you will post in the future. After doing so you should have more time to develop a thought process thats more beneficial.
