This is old news...

It's been like this for months...
I don't think it was ever actually enforced....I mean.....the smartphone data plan requirement is enforced pretty aggressively...and they could have enforced the messaging requirement for Quick Messaging Devices if they wanted to, but they never seeme...

This may be old news, but for those of us who did not know it is welcome.

Hmm

I have this tingly feeling that this "news" came about just to show good will because the T-Mo/AT&T merger.
Nah. This has been around for a while and even then, was rarely enforced. We stopped requiring it for discounts back in at least Jan, maybe early Feb.
