10-Years???? Get real. More like 2 years max!!! It has to start somewhere so complaining about how would you know if the other person has a capable phone and blah blah blah? It has to start in order for it to be a standard. So in about 2 years it will be rolled out completely. It will start in smarthphone and then in the regular phones they will probably only equip one camera on the front face and with some cheap ...

So apple got it in your hands to where you have experienced video calling? over wifi that is? Get out of here with you BS. I love apple don't get me wrong. I wish apple would come to sprint and I would hop all over it. but I also know that the EVO is a better phone then any iPhone. The iPhone is a great phone because of the apps and thats the reason why I would get it if it ...

Yeah, with the help of T-mobile and google themselves. Name me one ground breaking thing that Verizon has done? Don't get me wrong I CLEARLY UNDERSTAND the provide service and not a product. But what game changing service have the brought forth? The only good thing Verizon can say is stability. They have been consistent with providing service and having a good network. Their plans are a mirror image damn near of AT&T. They have not brought forth any feature such has ...

I understand that, but what I was saying is not going to be a success. Verizon fails at innovation. They always come up with something thats just not that good. It subpar but its a let down only because I have been waiting years for Verizon to come up with SOMETHING INNOVATING!!! they fail everytime.

Well keeping in contact with your own employee's is very limited was point to begin with, thanks for proving out limited this is and how its not going to work. In the case if everyone is on one company then M2M will be good enough. Business' call a array of other people they need to perform group conference calls with, I.E. clients. You can not possibly always know what kind of phone your client may have, but you need to ...

I don't like it because they all have to be Verizon with the exception of one out of the 20 can be another phone. Can you say flop? Business' can not and will not have the time to find out what service their clients have in order to use Verizon's group talk when they can just get group talk through landline company's, Cisco, skype, etc.

So if blackberry came out with a phone tomorrow that can't handle a drop (Storm) and the battery life sux, then what will you need? Not blackberry, but you will still need and want a phone that has durability and good battery life. So you want those two things, not a specific phone, and it just so happens that out of your choices blackberry is what meet those needs as of now. But to say you need Blackberry the company, kind ...

Re: Confused!!! with the wifi-PAM option
Jun 6, 2010, 11:41 AM

No, I work for sprint. Sprint discontinued the PAM option about the beginning of the year. The new Hotspot option is $29.99 because its half the price of a connection card which is $59.99. So its a good thing because it allows you to connect up 8 devices using your evo but not having to add a new line (contract) just for a connection card and its faster then most connection cards, with the exception of the 4G card ...

How in the he11 would you "NEED" blackberry? That doesn't even make sense. If thats not the most fanboyish statement I've ever heard. Your supposed to say I need such and such attributes and which blackberry provides for me, but to say you need blackberry is just outright blatantly biased. Blackberry needs to change design. They keep loosing more and more market share while Apple and Android are just eating up more and more of the market. Come on you Canadians, ...

Well actually If no one supports 4G then how and the he11 will it move forward? And don't say that 4G is starting behind 3G, when its only behind T-Mobile... I hear you saying AT&T as well but Rich didn't say anything about AT&T being faster then 4G, he only showed T-Mobile's 3G hspa+ or what ever its called being faster and that was only in certain area's as 4G was only faster then T-mobile in certain area's. I don't think nobody is going to say anything because nobody cares... As Rich stated: Rich Brome said: Well, it's more that 4G is simply new technology at the beginning of its lifecycle, while 3G techs are near the end of their lifecycle. 3G started out with technology like WCDMA that only achieved 384 kbps, then it evolved through various upgrades that have brought it all the way up to HSPA+ with 21 Mbps (21,000 kbps). Now there's not much further they can ...

And you see whats happening to the Iphone Vs. Android war. I'm no droid fan, I want the Touch Pro 2. But BB needs to step their game up and stop trying to cater to the minority such as yourself (10% of people who are ok with BB's current state) otherwise they will be nothing more then a company that has 10% market share. If you aim to cater to 10% then eventually you will be 10%. Why not aim ...
