🤣

It wasn't much of an improvement IMO

But hey I'm sure some will love it. Thats all that matters. I'm not hating. I'm just saying I was thinking it was be something mind blowing like the EVO. If the Iphone 4 was on Sprint no doubt I will get it. The Evo I love, but I'm too clumsy to get a screen that big. Plus I love Apple. 😁

Dude read the specs. The screen is higher res than the Evo and at the limit of human perception. 🤣

You "LOL" the Evo and you say "read the specs"? So what exactly does the iphone 4 have over the EVO 4G? A higher screen resolution and its thinner? Ok so lets do a side by side comparison you dumb@SS.

Battery life is also better

It weighs less

Has a more advanced processor.

Isn't the EVO already having issues with software that was promised not working?

Qik is having problems because they didn't think that many evo's would sell. (estimated 200k over the weekend, according to BGR)

10:1 Fring is doing fine

Qik is trash but fring and the Evo are excellent. Got mine Friday haven't slept too much and the phone has no issues, that I can tell.

Taking on the Apple fanatics I see. . .good luck with that.

So do you think if HTC can keep up, that Sprint will sell
500,000 Evo's by the end of this month?

You say the battery life is better because? Or because Steve Jobs says so? Or do you have a secret prototype? Point is they could make all the claims they want. But we wont really know till its out in the wild. I took my Evo off the charger this morning (7am), it had a 94% charge, its 1:20pm and it has 61% left. And that was after showing it off to all my coworkers. The batter life drainage is not what all these people are making it out to be. Granted I dont have 4G. Although the New Iphone does look rather impressive. If Sprint had it I would own both, the Evo and the Iphone. They are both worthy phones.

definitely nice to have faster speed though, at least the Evo has the capbility to when it becomes available, iphone 4 won't even be able to when it's available

iPhone is going to support AT&T's 7.2mbps upgrade, which should produce speeds similar to what Sprint's 4G offering will allow, and more consistently, too.

i can't tell if bluecoyote is a troll, or if he really just believes everything apple and at&t tells him.

Sure, with tiered data, not unlimited. Who wants that?

Real world speeds, which is all that matter, won't even be half of 7.2

Be honest.

Did you read PS's review of the Evo, Evo was getting 4mbps in Dallas. IT&T's 7.2 won't be putting out real world speeds of 4mbps.

and the need for 2 mics?

Probably something along the lines of seperating out the speaker and non-speaker mic's so that if one blows your phone isn't totally screwed.

The first mic records your voice, the second records the background noise.

Then a chip will filter out the background noise (using info from second mic) so that only your voice is sent to the other phone

No, actually it's not. Higher end phones and audio devices have started implementing this quite a bit.

It makes your voice MUCH clearer in a noisy environment.

What other phones have 2 mics for this purpose?
...

Jun 7, 2010, 1:16 PM
A lot of high end HTC phones (android and WINMO) have this feature, some Nokia's do as well.

And most professional mic's have at least 2 mics for the same purpose. (Some really high end bluetooth's do as well)

Yeah, dual microphone is actually pretty legit. Most bluetooths over $70 have use the technology, and I know that the nexus uses two microphones as well.

Don't just go bashing a feature cos you don't understand it haha.
