I found most of the time customers already know what it is that they want, they just want you to confirm that back to them. I try to remind them that they are asking the person whose making commission which item they should buy, it gets a laugh about 7 out of 10 times, but then again i am one of those honest sales people who will suggest staying away from phone models for reasons outside of them ...

i want to ban children from my store, they always break my displays make messes and give me a head ache with their constant screaming, I dont mind when their parents have them on kiddie leashes, but free roaming children need to stop. On a related note, I hate prost-i-tots the most.

I had an older person come in a few months ago, complaining about their phone not working, went into a huge discription of how it only works at their house and no where else, the guy pulls a home cordless phone out of his jacket pocket, it was priceless.

yea....when I as an indirect call CARE to do something as such they hang up on me because I am not a direct employee. and to to OP how about saying that the word of DIRECT agents is not the word of god. You work for an insurance company that covers cell phones, your a bottom feeder, who sends out broken phones to customers that need to be replaced again, since your company cannot be bothered to Quality ...

ohh, seem to me damage is damage regarldess of where it is, I would tell them to contact their insurance company in this case asurion to replace the phone but at no time would i state it would be a free warrenty replacement.

but i have a cousin who knows this guy from college whose brother used to work at toyota and drank with a guy at the local bar who worked at ford whose room mate worked at applebees and he says that you have to give me a free phone every two years without signing a contract or requiring data, and his brother's cousin's sister's room mate said she got a free car charger with purchase I want that too. ...

I live in washington and I HATE the people if you can call them that from oregon and canada that pull the "I am tax exempt" if they like being tax exempt stay in oregon.

I had a customer who wanted to know why we bills our phones the way we do and the philipines bill the way they do. he didnt like my answer that we were in the USA and we bill things differntly than another country.

Just say "I'll see you before your 30 days is up with them" and move onto your next customer. It calls their bluff or gets rid of a customer you really do not want to be walking into your store every other day credit begging.

I understand this policy atleast on a base level as to why they require data and explain it just as such to my customers, "people who get smart phones use the internet, if they say they don't they are lying and get huge bills, the extra per month is a lot less than the overage charges" yet some of the phones on the list are well pretty damned retarded. The w766 for instance was on the list ...

thats all you can do, try and prevent it in the future, I had a customer in my store the other day refusing to do a $20 plan bump, she was going over her minutes by about a 150 and on the lowest rate plan the overage charges are pretty damned harsh. everyone who works in a retail location deals with this. We start talking about video games, politics, whatever we can think of just for the hell of it. Latest topic to distract customers who come in just to talk on their phjone and walk around is why we refuse to send money to haiti.

Custoemr comes in they have a broken headset, no problem the corded types at my store have a life time replacement on them so I just go and swap it out. Our head sets come as 3.5mm standard with the 2.5mm adapter piece in each box, i double check to make sure those pieces are there before selling the item. Customer leaves the store, I get a phone call about 15mins later, she got home the headset wont plug ...

i send them out with the expectation that will wont be blazing fast but faster than what they have. and to ccaratatt, no the customer is not always right i hate that saying, because its pure BS, you have to do right by the customer and all customer lie there for they are never wrong.

could care less about your quality and hold times, which is why i tell customers that your all just college kids who dont care bout your jobs, sitting in a cubicle who know nothing about the equipment and read the same bill they recieve. Oh the joys of having them return telesales phones or threaten to cancle service when i wont assist them with their phone or transfer their numbers for them.

I have a dealer support they tell me to call customer care for the most mundane issues that they dealer support can fix. Example you say, reset the customers password after doing secondary verification. call customer care you say, they fraggin hang up on me. Put the customer on you say? ok, wait why are they telling the agent what door a package can be dropped off at, thanks for having me waste 20 minutes ...

totaly cool, I never talk to an insurance customer after I pull open the account to verify the fact that they have it, they get the most current pamphlet your company sends up with the 800 number circled and told to have a nice day so we can handle paying customers.

we sell air cards to people in poor reception areas out here all the time. Reason being the customer has no connection high speed options at all where they live, and the slow speed air card I sell them due to coverage is still 8 times faster than their dial up sure the customer complains about them not getting full speed but when i remind them about their 14.4 or 28.8 connection at home they gladly STFU and ...

nah most of the time i see it, its the 44.95 corp provision for a customer only running a yahoo account yes they have text plans but those are an additional 10 dollars on their account as well, I always check with the customer before moving it around on their account, the corp store here is just trying to make an extra dime is my guess.
