Sorry for the ignorance, but where would I download the upgrade for my MPX220 that you all have been talking about?

Yesterday I received yet another Moto Bluetooth Headset in the mail, from the same address as the last free one.

Has anyone else received a second headset? Any ideas on why I got a second one?

They are coming out a new version with better/update ROM. Was anybody here able to get your phone replaced by this new version?
I heard Cingular will replace it for you if you have a legitimate issue with this phone such as drop call, ear plug, reboot, etc

hey wuts up everybody. i have an mpx 220 that im using with cellularone of western wireless. but i cant seem to get the internet to work. the phone shows it has a signal but it just wont connect anybody have any suggestions.

i changed the housing and now my camera doesnt work and the phone is more static what happen?????i did pluged in everything

I am from the US but i am currently in the Middle East. I carry a Razr V3 as well as this one. My Razr works fine (Cingular) but when i put the Sim in the MPX, it only shows invalid Sim. What the hell is up with that?
I has always worked in Europe or where ever i travel. Anyone have any ideas??

I was trying to find out some information on the MPx220, I read a few months ago about the recall and I was wondering if the problem(s) had been fixed and what the problems were. Can anyone give me some information?

Wow I see the Moto MPX 220 is back on Cingular's website. I've always wanted to test out one of these phones. Wonder if you can only order (the upgraded firmware version) of Cingular's site, or will stores start getting the updated version also? Anyone know?

Anyone using this phone and can comment on the quality of these ROMs? I know Cingular had a lot of issues and pulled it, but I am wondering if the new ROMs fix anything.

I have tried and tried, but I can't get this thing to stop the annoying beeping when placing a call. Any suggestions???

I know everyone has a problem with the speakerphone and getting ringtones to play at a audible level but is there any way to flash the phone like a VXXX series phone? I had a V400 before this and i remember there was countless websites giving you details on how to make the volume louder for those speakerphones but i have yet to even see the question asked anywhere on this website or howardsforums. if any one knows or has tried or if you know if its possible then thanks in advance for talking about it.

When empty my 512 MB Mini SD card only shows 409 MB Free space. There is nothing on the card also no hidden files. Why does the full 512 MB (or 483 MB) not become available 😕

Im just wondering where did everyone get their Moto MPX220, i want to get one so bad.

I have heard everyone getting there second headset and I have yet to get my first... What do I need to do in order to get one. I thought when I signed up for the software update that it would take care of it since I opted to keep my phone instead of getting a new one. I have now done the update but no news about the headset. Can you guys help me???

ok... how do I get rid of these?
It not only has a lock on the goofy images that came on the phone and the barking dog ringtone, but some of the stuff I add then say I can't delete them....??

Okay so we have established that the phones aren't locked. And that by simply putting my TMobile card in the phone, it will work just fine.

But can I remove the Cingular branding? I don't really want that on there..

I had installed a few themes im my mpx220.
But now i want to remove them but when I go to "Settings"-"Remove programs" and I try to remove it says that the theme cannot be removed. 😕

Is there a solution for this??

Hi- Does anyone know if either motorola or voice signals will coming up with a patch or firmware update so that you can use a bluetooth headset directly with the voice command?

I recently purchased a black MPX220 off of eBay with the firmware version 1.470.0.0 Is this a newer overseas version than the 1.430 Cingular update? If so, is there any way to upload the firmware from this phone and download it onto another MPX220? I bought another one off eBay at a GREAT deal and could actually make some money off it if I can upgrade the firmware. I would love to get some feedback on this as I have posted with the motomodders website and have yet to get any replies. Any help you guys can offer would be great.
