I am from the US but i am currently in the Middle East. I carry a Razr V3 as well as this one. My Razr works fine (Cingular) but when i put the Sim in the MPX, it only shows invalid Sim. What the hell is up with that?
I has always worked in Europe or where ever i travel. Anyone have any ideas??

dura ace,

I too have an MPx 200 and a RAZR V3. I bought my RAZR off of ebay; it is unlocked for T-mobile (I use Cingular).

I made a SIMPLE mistake and felt pretty dumb afterwards when I realized I was putting the SIM card in backwards. My issue was with the RAZR showing "no SIM." I'm almost positive that these 2 phones hold the SIM in opposite directions. It is natural to want to slide the card in the same way you just pulled it from one phone to the next.

i think you should unlock your phone before you got out of country. Cingular usually locked their phone when they shipped to you.
