Motorola MPx220
MPX220 Firmware 1.470.0.0 NEWEST?
I recently purchased a black MPX220 off of eBay with the firmware version 1.470.0.0 Is this a newer overseas version than the 1.430 Cingular update? If so, is there any way to upload the firmware from this phone and download it onto another MPX220? I bought another one off eBay at a GREAT deal and could actually make some money off it if I can upgrade the firmware. I would love to get some feedback on this as I have posted with the motomodders website and have yet to get any replies. Any help you guys can offer would be great.

NO not really! I already have TWO of these phones, it's not that I don't like them it's just that there is too much on the phone that goes unused. I have a v635 on the way and well if that isn't any better it will go back on eBay. I really wish they made the MPX220 in a standard version, without all the "smartphone" features. I love the style and feel of this phone and the WinMedia and stuff but, the whole internet thing is a bit pointless for me right now. There are a few modifications that need to be made like maybe being able to access some of the features w/out actually having to open the phone. BTW Do you have an answer to my post or what? 😕
