Bluetoothing to MPx220 MMC

Everytime I transfer a song via bluetooth it automatically saves it to the phones memory.

How do I set it so that it saves it to the Card?

Not to worry I know how to move from card to phone and vice versa, so i'll be able to move bk and forth if need be, but for now HEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPP!!!!

Working on T-Mobile network

I was recently thinking of getting this phone for my dad as a gift. He has been wanting a new phone for a while and this looks like a pretty good one. However if I buy an unlocked version of this phone, will the internet access still work with using a T-Mobile SIM Card. Or do I need to "brand" it to T-Mobile, and how would I do that?

OVerclock the phone

You can overclock the phone so that it runs faster. Most people try 240 Mhz

You will need the programs OmapClock.exe and maybe the program SDA_ApplicationUnlock.exe (to run applications that are not signed)

try this forum:
http://tinyurl.com/o5ntf »
for OmapClock.exe

http://www.smartphone2000.com/downloads.htm »
has an application unlocker. I haven't tried it.

You can find SDA_ApplicationUnlock.exe on the forum here:
http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=841534& ... »
Right click on the link 'Registry Unlock Tool' and save as (with internet explorer)

I overclocked my MPX220 it worked ok. It seemed a little bit faster.

The overclocking doesn't last forever though. It resets itself if you turn off the phone.

Latest ROM 1.49

Had Cingular 1.43 then upgraded to 1.47 and had been using 1.47 for about 2 months and loved. Last night updated to the latest 1.49. Sound is not as high pitched as 1.43 and seems to be a bit better than 1.47. Reception is way better than 1.43 and I can't tell the difference with 1.47 but certainly no worse. Voice dial prompts are still in British English (as with 1.47) which I don't care for cuz some of their syllables/pronounciation is different than American english and you have to repeat names sometimes that wasn't the case with 1.43. For example one of my contacts has the last name "Duarte" and we pronounce it "du-ar-teh" while the British (1.49) prompt back is "du-art." There are a bunch of these little inconsistencies in Voice Recogni...

Ear buds (Shure IC3) problem

When I place calls on my mpx220, I do not hear my own voice through the earpiece speaker, just the voice of who I am talking to. I had assumed that this was normal, even though at times I found myself talking loudly into the phone, completely unaware of if I was talking too loud or not.

Recently I bought a pair of Shure IC3 ear bud head phones, for my phone. The head phones work like ear plugs, blocking out the noise around me. But they also block out the sound of my own voice. Since the phone mic is not played through the earpiece, it's not carried though the ear buds either.

So I started to wonder if there was something wrong with my phone. Is this normal mpx220 behavior, or do I have a busted phone?

Thanks in advance.
