Pics of 810 and 710

I would like to let everyone know that the V710 will delivered to Verizon and launched in LATE JULY. The 810's and 710's being sold by me or my contact have the latest software and so far bug free. These are the ones most likely being retested in the field by Verizon NOW. The pictures posted by WICKEDCRAZY were taken by me and I emailed them to him or her yesterday.

If you would like to see pictures of the V810 I took today you can go to EBAY and take a look. I had a client of mine that does ebay stuff, post a phone for me. As you can see it does not have a retractable antenna.

Hopefully I do not get harassed for giving you information by other members on this forum.

As for the 810, latest word as of today is that it will be re...

New information from Moto

Just received an email from Motorola and it has yet another answer...

"Although I do not currently have a specific date of availability, we do have an email where you can register on-line to be notified by email when this product is launched. Please click on the following link:

http://commerce.motorola.com/consumer/QWhtml/product ... »

Nevertheless, we may inform you that the V810 camera phone should be in the market by mid-May."

In other words, either it is being moved out from what was said the other day or the continue to give different answers every day. Why, because they can and it keeps us from buying someone else's phone while we wait for theirs.

V720 vs V810? so confused

😕 🙄 😲 😡
I like the key pad on the V810 better than the one on the V710, but I'm not quite sure which one is newer, or better... Im up for an upgrade in September, hoping it's out by then... 😁

Thanx

I just happened to be confused. I was going by the model numbers; see I was thinking that the V810 was newer because it has a higher model number than the V710. In the case of the V300, V400, and the new released by Cingular V600. In that case a greater model number means a newer phone. I just understood that that is not the case with the V710 and the V810. thank you for clarifying this for me. 😁

V810 Speakerphone???

Can anyone advise if the 810 will have a speakerphone? I know the features dont show one, but I have seen other information indicating a speakerphone.

V810 Volume and Reception

I am waiting for something new to replace my T720 which has lousy volume. I loved the volume on the LGVX6000 that I tried in the store. If anyone gets their hands on this phone, please let me know how the volume, reception and battery life is.

being a gam-bow-ler, Ive come up w following odds. You guys, incl ALDCON, can correct me BUT:

I came up w this **** after emails from manufacturers, chats w VZW insiders n radio shack insiders, scanning phone scoop n howards etc etc re first VZW release:9900 is the clear fave at 9-5. 7000 is next at 3-1. v810 which was due last XMAS, is now a dog at 6-1. 670 (the dark horse and it may surprise us) but still a dog at 8-1. 8000 big dog at 20-1

Just talked with Motorola -- forget it...

Called Moto, ask if they still plan on having the v810 out this week or next week like they told me a few weeks ago... She tried looking it up, then said "oh, wait a minute please" then put me on hold, came back a few minutes later and told me second half of the year. She told me it was still in testing. 😳

So I asked about the v710 and she looked it up and told me second half of this year. She didn't have to ask anyone about the v710 so I think something got in the way on the v810.

Either that, or nobody knows anything or they are making it up as they go.

Wait? I don't think so... I may end up with one of those 'girly' vx6000 phones... 😉

Really sux having to buy older technology because they can't get their you-know-wh...

Release Info

Called customer service for Motorola today. They informed me that the expected launch date for both the V810 and V710 has been pushed back to Q3 2004. So much for the "April 22" date.

Phone is definitely delayed

I copied this from a member on HowardForum

searching around on the FCC web site and I found these new documents for the V810 that were submitted on 4/20. It makes me wonder if this is a good sign or a bad sign that it's coming out soon.

https://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/prod/oet/...821&fcc_id=IHD ... »

The SAR report document at the following link has some more pictures of the V810 starting on page 47 in an ugly leather swivel case.

https://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/prod/oet/...tive_or_pdf=pdf »

If you're wondering how I know it's for the V810, besides the pictures, it has the same FCC ID which is IHDT56DH1.

what about

My question is, does the v810 have the navigation menu showing on the mainscreen like the 720 does, or can it be removed to show the enitire picture/wallpaper? Someone in howardforums bought a 810 on ebay and has a few pics of it, pretty cool, but one of the pics shows the infamous unremovable menu on the main screen and I thought that the 810 was going to allow you to remove that.

No alarm?

Is it possible that this phone does not have an alarm (I looked at the info and didn't see it listed)? I have had an LG for the last several years and used it frequently.

Not being familiar with the latest from Moto I don't know if this is a common omission from them or if it is not listed because no one knows for sure.

Almost here!

This phone is either already being sold somewhere or is finally about to launch. I've just visited a couple of sites that sell aftermarket accessories and found accessories, however minimal, for the V810! 😳 I know that I've been keeping an online "vigil" waiting for this phone to launch, I think this weekend I'll visit a Verizon Wireless store in my area. It has definitely got to launch soon, AT&T finally launched the long-awaited Motorola V600, so the V810 can't be too far behind......fingers crossed. 🙂

hey nine178

I really really believe from everything I hear and know and etc etc that the 9900 or 710 or 670 or 7000, will b out in a matter of weeks. One of them will be, its a horse race so we'll see.Its not gonna b months after the 810 but days/weeks at most

Wasnt this suppose to be already out??!?!?

Isn't it funny how they told us it was coming out this week and its not even out. I called Motorola sales and they told me to wait a few weeks. LOL. This doesn't surprise me at all. V710 probably won't be out till XMAS day.
